Anyone got a Sansa Clip?

I've ordered one on the strength of this review and just wondered if anyone has one and what they think?

I love Apple products but this seems like a great alternative to the Shuffle.

Cheers

I have a sansa view 16GB (I guess the big brother of the clip?) and it's great. The only issue I've had is the firmware is kinda buggy, which probably isn't an issue on the clip (different firmware and all).

Similar layout though.

It looks like a great MP3 player - and the fact it has a screen instantly makes it better than the shuffle.

I got it at the weekend and forgot about this thread. The Sansa clip is without doubt the best value Mp3 I've purchased so far. It's bloody tiny and I didn't even notice it was there when I used it at the gym.

The inclusion of the screen, FM Radio and equalizer is pretty beanz and I've already had my moneys' worth out of it. It sound awesome and I would recommend it to anyone wanting a tiny mp3 player. I didn't even use the software, it allowed me to drag and drop songs, which is in my opinion far easier. 10/10

If you want one of these but like using iTunes, then I'd recommend iTunes Agent. It syncronises any playlist in itunes (depending on the size of your music collection, you can make an auto-playlist with all your music in it, generate one randomly each time you sync, or have your favourite tunes in a playlist) with any mass-storage MP3 player. You just need to tell it the filename of a file in the root of your player (so it can recognise it when you plug it in) and it'll do the rest.
Harry, it sucks

Hi Mr Bauer,
I'm glad you're happy with the clip, it looks like a good device. Can you tell me what the reception is like on the radio? I've got a generic 1GB thumb drive player that's fine, done me good for a couple of years, don't really need to upgrade, but for that price I'm considering the clip for the radio, and it looks great imo...

I bought a Clip today and can't sort out how to transfer music.

All the music on my computer is arranged in folders named as the album.

If I drag and drop the folders into the Music folder on the Clip, when I unplug the USB cable, the clip display says 'updating database'.

However, when I try to play the music, it only shows one album called 'Unknown', and all the tracks are in this album.

How can I get it to display the folder names and allow me to select the track that I want?

8Gb of music is a lot of tracks to scroll through to find the one I want.

John
