Hi,

My friend has BT Option 1 and wants to call Canada. Can anyone advise me of her options?

Thanks

Ignoring pre-pay providers, there's one indirect access provider (18185) and one gateway provider (DiscountDial) offering ½p/minute rates - see HERE..

Thanks Heinz - That's just what I was looking for - I'll pass that info on.

IF you have inclusive calls or minutes, you could use: 01793 238 280, you dial that number and then follow the prompts and dial the destination.

On BT Option 1, it would be 4.5p for up to 60 mins at the evening and weekend.

How long this access number will be available for I don't know as they have had a few over the last year or so.

When it's no longer available, use 18185.

So with BT O 1, you could use 18185 for weekday daytimes and the 01793 access in the evening and weekends.
