I am in a strange mood for food today. So much nice food in the fridge and freezer but I didn't fancy most of it. All I could find that took my fancy was some Chinese style belly pork slices and garlic bread.
![]() ![]() I am going to have to eat extra veg tomorrow to make up for my lack of it today.

mmm I had wild boar red wine casserole. It was lovely and the kitchen still smells of red wine now - a whole bottle went in!

A cheese sandwich for lunch and a fishy surprise for dinner. Either plaice or fish cakes.

Okay, I've found inspiration from Peter Gordon, we're having potato, celeriac, leek, feta and sage gratin with probably a bit of creamed spinach on the side.

The boyfriend and I are having chilli con carne with white rice tonight. I shall be adding extra chilli powder; he will not. And we're going to try adding a splash or two of red wine to see how it tastes. Yum
