I'm after a new mp3 player and I quite like the look of the Creative Zen or Zen V plus.

Whats the difference in what the two different ones can do?

The Creative website seems to suggest that they both do Music Photos Video Radio

I've got a V plus and I don't think the V I looked at had video or FM radio but I could be wrong.

According to the Creative site the V doesnt have a radio.

although my question is between the Zen - This one - http://www.creative.com/products/mp3/zen/ and the Zen V Plus - this one http://www.creative.com/products/mp3/zenv/

be weary if considering the Zen Vision:M sort .... the touchpad is very very annoying. The rest of it is excellent and the screen is brilliant but the machine loses a good number of points in my eyes for the very over sensitive, overly complicated touch button.

All i suggest is that you find a way to try one out first to see what you think of that button, if you find you get on ok with it then i cant recommend it enough.

Having owned a Vision M and an Ipod, I would take the Vision M any day.

The touch pad is a bit strange to get used to, but the creative product is so much better than the apple in every way.

I know the apple hasn't been mentioned in this thread, but as the industry standard I thought I would use it to compare.

I would recommend the zen any day

I love my Zen, and it's much cheaper for me to download from Napster onto it To Go than from iTunes onto an iPod.

The Zen is an amazing device. Not sure what problems people have with the touchpad, I just turn down the sensetivity on it, ad it works brilliantly.
