REmember, this is negative voting.

So, the Cameron fans may well target Lisa, but the fans of other HMs overnumber the Cameron fans, and if we all vote for Cameron, he goes.

It must happen.

If he doesn't go now, then he has a shot at the 70K. Do you want that to happen?

save your cash, there really is no way the result of this vote can be changed by campaigning/tactical voting. More to the point, why fill C4's coffers? Lisa's a cert to go.

To expand upon this:

Dave Hill has a very small fan base. Camfans probably don't dislike her, but if she gets to the final four, when the vote turns positive, she has very little chane of the 70K. There are large numbers of Cam fans who will vote for Cam when the positive vote comes

However, with the negative vote, the Cam fans have to put more votes on one person, than Cam gets from the others. In total, there are probably more Cam dislikers than there are Camfans. In a positive vote, the Camdislikers are split up amongst other housemates. In a negative vote, such as the one we have here, they can unite and vote out Cam

That is, if they don't get taken in by the sleight of hand which says that Lisa is going to go.

She isn't, necessarily.

THe voting numbers are low, so there is a good chance that a concerted attack on Cam could get him out now.

Those who tell you not to bother may have an agenda to try and encourage you not to vote to get Cam out.

even the people whoi hate cameron hate Lisa too, probably more in many cases. I'll repeat myself for the sake of it - you can't change the result, so don't waste your cash voting.

No agenda just a waste of money.

"the fans of other HMs overnumber the Cameron fans, and if we all vote for Cameron, he goes."

What? like it did when all of Fed's fans and all of Jon's fan couldn't outnumber the Cam fans???

Sadly your theory is flawed - Vote Steph out is better as you may stand some chance!!!

FEd and Jon fans were voting for the other HM, in a failure to remember that two people were going to be evicted. Some of us (not me) spotted this one early on and pleaded to divert the votes to Cameron, but this failed.

That's the difference.

Fed and Jon fans took each other out.

Now is the time for the Fed and Jon fans to band and concentrate on Cameron.

Well of course, somebody who has supported Cameron would say this .....

(ps ... your previous postings is how I know you support Cam)

Surely it's a given that Lise will go? I don't think Stiff could stand it if she went over her!

I agree. Vote Steph out, there is a decent chance of that succeeding.

Can you just imagine the look on her face when her name is called out by Davina. My goodness it would rank amongst the most memorable moments of any of the BB series.

Plus Lisa will be simply unbearable if he survives a nomination which will make BB a whole lot more watchable next week.

Lisa won't win it for goodness sake whether he goes this week or not. It's just a matter of next weeks entertainment!

Vote Steph out, put her out of her misery. The look in her face, its almost as if she understands.

magsiess - it doesn't actually matter who I want to win, it really is a no brainer this week. I'm not trying to 'save cameron', in fact I prefer Ray. There is not always some kind of ulterior motive for making posts...why be so suspicous about it that you have to go and read people's previous posts?

If I was going to vote for anyone this week (though i doubt i will be) it would be for Steph... voting for Cameron would be a wasted vote for sure.

Go for Cameron, not Steph. The reason for this is that Steph will not win this, even if she is in the final four. Cameron might, and I would be really sorry to see that happen. I haven't voted since Jon and Fed left, but I'll be voting this week.

I don't remember user names of relatively new posters unless they have made posts that are memorable in one way or another - I could not remember why I should remember your name, so checked your posts. That simple. I usually remember ..... must be cos its weekend

Cameron is just as vulnerable as Steph because of the negative voting.

There are Cam fans, but they are not voting to keep him in at this stage: They are voting to get someone else out. That will be Lisa.

If you are not voting for Lisa, Cam and Steph are equally vulnerable. The only thing that makes it seem more likely that Steph will go is the absence of fanatical Steph fans, but they do not affect the negative vote.

So the statement that Steph is more likely to go than Cameron is false. All the Cam fans can do is vote for Lisa, or split their vote and vote for Steph and Lisa. If this happens, this makes Cam double vulnerable.

Don't get confused by the Steph has no fan base PR - this doesn't affect the situation with negative voting.

Cameron is vulnerable. Vote for Cam.

I think C4's Cameron following may be too large to do much about. Steph is the contestant with the least amount of fans of those two

Although Cameron really does bring out the hate in generally OK people (she says looking in the mirror) ...

Its a toughy - some people may multiple vote as they really dislike Cameron, but Steph has probably less supporters.

Cameron is still being protected by C4 editing - so I don't know what to do either really. A vote each perhaps?

Steph's just not interesting enough to provoke real hatred of the sort that garners multiple votes. But Cameron is hated, and is thus more vulnerable than Steph. If we were voting for favourites, Cam would get loads of votes, but we aren't. So I really do think that voting for Cam makes sense. The delicious possibility of seeing his face as his name is called out is just too good to pass up...

The point is that, in a negative vote, the fans can't protect their hero/heroine, all they can do is vote for someone else. So Steph having less fans makes sod all difference - except possibly to make Cameron more vulnerable. As the Steph fans could have joined with the Cam fans to vote out Lisa.

As it is, Steph and Cameron are starting from an equally vulnerable position. What Camfans have to do to save Cameron is to persuade people not to vote him out. There are far more people who wish Cameron not to win than there are people who wish him to win.

If those people ignore the spurious, and false arguments about Steph having a smaller fan base, and Lisa being a cert to go, and vote for Cam, then he will go.

look at the msn, freeserve and aol polls - they all have lisa going with a huge majority (75% plus). these polls are usually pretty accurate (to within about 3%). frankly, I think I trust them more than some rambling statements about votes from each supporter base being split...
