Yes ! - I think I'm old enough to answer this one !!

Dave Hill was a Guitarist in a 70's Band Called SLADE (Noddy Holder was the lead singer - No! I didn't make that name up!)

If you are not old enough to remember them then I bet you have heard their Xmas song, of which the chorus goes - "So here it is, merry christmas, everybody's having fun!"

They were know, as all 70's Glam Rock Bands were, for being "LOUD" on stage in the way they dressed or acted - make up - glitter suits - platform shoes that were 5 inches high and silly hairstyles (and YES, sadly, that was just the blokes!)

Dave Hill was know for his VERY VERY BAD Haircut - the fringe was cut VERY straight across and looked like they had put a pudding bason on his head to cut it !!! - In fact very like Steph's!!!

Hope that helps - cos I didn't enjoy that trip down Memory Lane !!!

Sorry to have to put you through that Kriz...I remember Slade very well but didn't know the names of the other members in the band only Noddy Holder.... so thanks for that!

I currently want Steph out this week but hey guys, if you wish to vote Cameron then I'm fine with that. Either would be OK for me.

I'm not trying to hide anything from the voting public. I just think that when push comes to shove, Cameron will have a large support...
”

...I believe that too. We'll see how many vote to save him, and the overall voting figures will reflect his apparent popularity.

Everyone assumes that Lisa's gonna go so even Lisa haters aren't gonna bother to vote. It wouldn't surprise me if this turns out to be one of the lowest vote counts ever.

You will NEVER get a better opp to get rid of Cam! The votes at the the final will be counted in millions - your votes then will be a piss in the ocean!

You know it makes sense!

I think I'll cut and paste my message on a number of relevant threads to get the point accross.

The other two band members were Don Powell and Jimmy Lea...ouch how sad to admit knowing that Then again Christmas would still not seem the same without a burst of Slade or Roy Wood and Wizzard

Back on topic.....I think this weeks vote is pretty much a foregone thing and Lisa will be out. The nominations next week are bound to be a three/two split with Cameron and Steph being nominated again (Ray/Scott/Nush). Would it not make more sense if you really want to see the back of Cameron to save your money and vote then? This week will only see a divided vote, either those who want Lisa out on one side or those who don't care if it is Steph or Cameron who goes on the other. You stand more chance of success if you wait one more week and have a straightforward two horse race to vote on.

I don't think the nominations for next week are quite so cut & dried. I agree that it is likely that it will be a 3-2 split, but I just have a sneaky feeling that Ray will nominate Nush & Steph. After all, he did say when he nominated Cameron this time round that he didn't have a reason other than Cameron having been exempt for the 2 previous weeks. He added that he really likes Cam, so I think that he will want to keep the 3 guys in.

Yes I can see that is possible, I still think he is more likely to nominate Cameron than Nush because she enjoys more of the drinking and being silly games that Ray does.

What's more, with a three way, Cameron and two others, if Cameron gets nominated next week, it won't be so 'certain' that Lisa is going, and so the Cam fans will go all out to vote for the third person, hence raising the barrier.

This week is the week to get him.

..... & its not looking very likely, if the RISE poll is anything to go by.

The front page headline in the Star this morning was about Lisa being the most hated housemate ever; at 1-20 on to go, she must be the nearest thing to a certainty ever !

Cameron is till the outsider with the bookies, which must indicate that there is very little, if any, money going on him to be evicted. I keep looking to see if the bookies have made any announcements about a possible betting coup i.e. closing the book because of a flood of bets, but there has been nothing. It looks like he will be in the house until the end, as he should be.
