I upgraded to v0.21 on 14/01.

On 19/01 I attempted to manually record the full series of Billy Connolly's World Tour of NZ on Dave, from 9pm on 20/01 until 2.30am.

Earth: the power of the planet was the only scheduled recording for 20/01 at 10pm on BBC3 (or BBC4, cant remember which). No other recordings were scheduled which may conflict with the Billy Connolly series.

I then received the conflict message, which contained Earth on BBC3/4, (fine) along with Ch71, from 06.30 until 00:00.

Puzzled as to why the second entry was being displayed, I realised that the it matched my power auto on/off settings!

I switched the Humax into standby then went to bed.

The next morning (20/01) I switched on my Humax from standby, attempted to manually set the series of Billy Connolly (which started that same day at 9pm) and the reservation worked...!

Has anyone else come across this?
Is it because the recording straddles mignight/2 days?

I have not attempted to replicate this...

Thanks!

You don't mention doing a reset to defaults after the software upgrade. The symptoms you are describing are exctly what I would expect if the reset to default has not been performed or has not worked. Either way I suggest a reset to defaults now.

Thanks Martin.

No, I didnt do a reset to defaults after the upgrade, but I'll do that.

I've not been keeping track of this forum recently, and wasn't sure whether a reset to defaults was necessary after an upgrade.

Cheers!

The onscreen message after the update did suggest a reset to defaults and what you have observed demonstrates the importance. What version were you using previously?

"More haste, less speed" is the moral of this story...

I was on v.6 previously.

Thanks.

My OTA update to .21 did *not* suggest a reset to defaults. After it started lockup up, failing recordings, etc. I found the online discussion and did a reset - but no luck!
