Going by what was said on Talk Sport this morning he won't have the chance to buy him or anyone else for that matter.
According to the journo AVB will be sacked after the next bad result. If that's the case then they might as well sack him now.

AVB has made a shedload of mistakes this season and there's no doubt now that he's lost the support of a number of very important players, but keep him on on a game to game basis is a farce and shows just how little forward thinking and planning those at the top have.
I don't think our club will be ever be run properly again until the man at the very top leaves.

Yes, run properly, but mid-table..if we were lucky and escaped going into administration
Don't forget, Abramovich cleared a shed load (if you'll excuse the pun) of debt when he arrived. If Ken Bates hadn't found a buyer, God knows where we would have been now.
Since then, we have owed him as much as £760m..he wiped out £340m of debt in 2009 largely leaving us debt-free.
I pray he stays. It may be a bumpy ride sometimes, and he may buy dodgy strikers on a whim, get rid of managers for no apparent reason etc..but we have won more with RA than we did before in practically our entire history.

I think you have to be careful what you wish for.

Mourinho is understood to have viewed five properties in the Knightsbridge and Mayfair areas of London and also ate out in Chelsea yesterday.........

Not a fan of Chelsea but would like to see in Mourinho back in the Premier, not sure if he would go to Spurs though as he likes to have a big old kity at his disposal.

It seems certain that Jose will be leaving Real in the summer, based on all the evidence so far anyway. Crazy as he is probably going to win La Liga, and has a decent chance at the champions league, seems he just doesnt fit the philosphy at Real though. He is a brilliant coach, no doubt about it. Barca side at the moment are regarded as one of the best ever, yet he has still(most likely) managed to win the title. I would happily take him back here, Always thought he was unlucky to get sacked by Abramovich for a poor run of results, think it was more due to Jose not liking that RA was meddling in team/transfer affairs, im sure he would only come back if RA lets Jose have full control.

Sadly, i think AVB will be gone soon, and if not then in the summer. I do like him actually, and i think he has a great future, but perhaps the job came too early for him, Probably should have stayed for another few seasons at Porto to experience more situations, he never went through a crisis of confidence at Porto in the brilliant season he had, so this situation is all new to him. Already rumours circling that Inter will snap him up if we let him go, so i wish him luck if this does happen.

Saying all that, it is really hard to fully back AVB at the moment, part of me thinks he should be sacked right now, and the other part wants him to stay another year to try turn this squad around, heavily investment is needed no matter what happens to the manager.

I'm caught in two minds about him as well.

There's no doubt he's made a lot of mistakes this season, especially with the man management side of things. However, he's very young and very inexperienced, but he's a bright guy and bright people usually learn from their mistakes.
I know i've been saying he should go, but if push comes to shove and it's a choice between yet another manager and giving him more time then i have to go with the latter, especially if they are thinking of bringing in the likes of Rafa to replace him.

Rafa and Capello are the only 2 available managers to come in right now. Either one of those would have me hibernating until Abramovich leaves.

Sturridge and Drogba struggling to be fit for tomorrow. What are the odds on Lukaku starting and scoring a hat-trick?

Unhappy at Bayern and out of contract in 2013. I'd certainly have him back.

Letting Robben go all those years ago seemed stupid, guess he wanted to go and we did get a good fee for him though. I would never have Benitez at the club, i really detest that man. I actually wouldnt mind Capello too much, i think he is a good coach who was hard done with England, but that job is a death sentence for coaches now. Capello is proven at club level as one of the best, his english leaves a lot to be desired though, seems even worse than Ancelottis/AVB/Scolari's. Not sure if the players would take to a coach who has poor english as he does.

I saw somewhere that you have won as many trophies with Abramovic as you did in the 15 years before the take-over, or something along those lines?

2 of our 'highly rated' reserves are under investigation for letting off a smoke bomb in the Cobham locker rooms.

8 major trophies won since Abramovich took over in 2003:
3 Premier Leagues, 3 FA Cups and 2 League Cups

8 major trophies won in Chelsea's history before he took over :
1 Old First Division, 3 FA Cups, 2 League Cups and 2 European Cup Winners Cups.

Of these just 4 were won in the 15 years before he took over :
2 FA Cups, 1 League Cup and 1 European Cup Winners Cup
