I just read about that in the Daily Fail. Oh Brani, my love for him increases after every game he plays but why did he feel the need to do that?

Everyone is always trying to paint us in a bad light - funny how they don't focus on the game-play before that incident. I don't think he's the type of guy to just punch people lol. Something must have definitely provoked him but noooooo, all the press can think about is finding something bad to print about us. British Journalism at its finest!

Can't defend him for it. Whatever the provocation there's no excuse for walking up to a guy and punching him like that. It means we're likely to be left with Bosingwa against Arse, Spuds, and QPR....

Anyway, tonights game. Ramires / Lampard / Cole all still doubts. I'd guess Drogba and Malouda won't start.

I know what you're getting at - it was very stupid on his part but if you're going to give out a ban I hope the FA don't just focus on that video. Brani seems like a level headed guy to me, I highly doubt he gives out punches for the fun of it.

If they look back on the footage before the incident and it showed he just punched Maloney for nothing, then I'll agree - he deserves the ban. But if it shows him retaliating to something that happened earlier, then it would be unfair to just single out Brani (unless it was something really petty of course).

Anyway - onwards and upwards! Fulham next; I really think we should start scoring more goals rather than trying to maintain a 1 goal lead. It's a tight schedule and the GD might play a huge part come the end of the season. Hopefully Norwich can do the business on Tottenham and Bolton can keep Newcastle quiet!

Need to up our goal difference. If we win tonight then both us and Newcastle are level with Tottenham, and they're bad form could very well continue until the end of the season. Seeing theirs and City's recent form makes me wonder why we couldn't get motivated against them

Go on Norwich! Yeah i think we may live to regret the Spurs and Man City results, think pretty much every game is a must win for us now. Newcastle also becoming serious contenders for 4th spot too...

Still have to play Arsenal Liverpool and Newcastle in the league. I honestly cant see us winning all 3 of those. If we got 6-7 points out of those games we may still have a chance. Still need to hope Spurs slip up further though.

C'mon guys - we need to keep the faith!
