Lampard will probably go, what an idiot he's been
Drogba may stay it seems
Robinho will probably arrive
Maka may or may not go to PSG
Belletti may or may not go somewhere
Pizzaro will probably leave
A striker will likely arrive, who knows who

What does everyone think about the possible signing of Robinho ? He is undoubtedly one of the world's most skillful players..but that doesn't always translate into performances throughout a season. Sometimes pretty to watch without any end result.
The reported offer of £48m is an awful lot of money !

I think he'd be great for the premiership but to be honest £48m is a joke considering Real were touting him round Europe for £12m when Capello was there.

I reckon they should let Lampard go. He's been a good servant to the club, wouldn't like to see his relationship with Chelsea turn sour like it has with England.

He's 30 now and Deco's an able replacement.

Maka went to PSG a few days ago.

Inter have apparently stopped pursuing Lampard for this season now.

If Lampard really was as desparate to go to Inter as everyone is making out he is, why didn't he just buy his way out of the contract with Chelsea? Also is there any truth behind the rumour that they are getting ready to offer him the five year £150k a week deal when they return from the Far East?

Out of interest what do you want to happen with Drogba? Keep or get rid?

I hold him personally responsible for Chelsea losing the UEFA cup final. I could take or leave Drogba, I don't think Chelsea missed him all that much when he was at the Africa cup of nations but at other things he's seemed really important, at the minuteI do think though that like Lampard he should stay.

What on earth is the Railway Cup? Why are they bothering?

Let Drogba go and get someone younger in who actually wants to be there. We'll still make a bit of money out of him if he goes this summer.

well the people on DS who seem to think Deco will bomb are so far very much wrong, he's been superb in pre season and playing incredibly well with Frank as Scolari uses a 442 with Mikel as a holding player and wings backs going forward. Thankfully he is also using other systems like 4-3-3 with wingers which shows just how diverse we are. Unlike our rivals if i do say so myself.

I quite agree that Deco does work well with Lampard I haven't seen many people slating him on here though.

I'm still concerned about our striker situation. Anelka and Di Santo have both had a god pre-season, but Drogba's attitude and Shevchenko's lack of form are still a worry IMO. Can't understand why we are still being linked with Kaka considering the amount of midfielders we already have

I hope we see more of Scott Sinclair and Di Santo in the first team this season.

I think we'll still see a couple more leaving, with 1 more (probably a striker) coming in.

Hopefully Malouda & SWP to leave, probably Belletti too.

I'd like to think there's more to come from Malouda, but I wouldn't mind seeing him, Kalou and Shevchenko depart, as long as we bring in a winger and striker to replace them.

I'm surprised we haven't gone for Eto'o by now.

Malouda's way too lazy. Kalou and Sheva might not have done brilliantly in a Chelsea shirt so far but you can't fault the effort that they put in when they're playing.

I'd rather ditch Malouda (apparently Roma wanted him as Mancini's replacement) and give Sinclair more games.

Apparently Hull are interested in Pizzaro. Hopefully we can offload him too.

Anyone got anything interesting to report from the Chelsea fan day? 14,000 fans odds must be that some post here!

Other than JT in goal? A suprising new initiative by Scolari? Was Essien really missing?

They reckon Deco stole the show. Didn't get down there myself.

The rumours that Chelsea will sign Kaka are gaining momentum. Unlikely..but it is true that Milan representatives are due in London later this week, reportedly looking for a deal concerning Ivanovic and/or Alex ? I can't see that happening, we would be left short of cover at the back.. so maybe the talks about Kaka are still on-going ?
Also rumours that Villa are about to bid £17.5m for Joe Cole..presumably thinking that Chelsea are close to signing Robinho ?
jimbo_79

We need to keep Joe Cole at all costs. Ballack, Lampard and Deco are all 30+ now.

£17.5m is taking the piss if they reckon Barry's worth £18m anyway.
