Great game. And good to see Nando finally score his first goal for us. You could see the rest of the players were genuinely happy for him.

The first of many. Great Goal.

What does everybody think of the press reports that Carlo Ancelotti will be sacked even if he wins the EPL?

I think it would be harsh to sack him if he wins the title? Perhaps the owner wants to win the Champions League before Man City spend anymore money?

Probably a load of crap but wouldnt surprise me.The club has made some stupid decisons in terms of management and this be another.Cant keep sacking Managers after a bad run its silly and pricey.

And even if we dont win the title and finishs 2nd still be a achivement after our couple of months of playing awlful

And I cant see Jose coming back,he seems to be waiting for Fergie to retire so that story seems a load of bull

Ancelotti won the double last season, which should earn him another go next season but with Abramovich you're judged on the current season, not on previous ones so would not be surprising.

Would like to see him back. He's a good manager with a good record and the players seem to like him as the manager.

It doesn't help stop the rumours about Jose though when he keeps saying he loves the club and still talks to the players. No wonder the media think he will be back at some point.

Don't think Abramovich would let it happen though.

A couple of months ago we were struggling to stay in the Champions League places, now we should get one. Sort of successful in that regard.

How many managers is Roman still paying? There's been a few under his ownership.

Told you guys yesterday ....have faith in Torres, I think the goals will flow, now.

To be fair , I'd prefer Arsenal to win the league but as they seem to be running out of steam ( like my beloved Barca) its gonna have to be you guys .

Fernando Torres scored!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

http://hasfernandotorresscoredforchelsea.com/

Aww, so happy for him! After all the pressure from the media and the constant £50 million price tag surrounding him, it was all worth it to see that goal from Torres. Loved the celebration at the end. I wanted to join in with them haha.

Wouldn't count out Arsenal yet. Win against Bolton and then a win next week at the Emirates puts them right in it. Could easily be a 3 way battle yet for the title.

You could tell how much Nando enjoyed that one. He doesn't have to worry about it now over the summer and pre season.

Things just took a turn for the worse, guys !

Rumours abound that Howard Webb is the ref for your match against Man U !

Fergie will be so, so pleased .

I think we have a big chance to beat Man Utd, as long as Ancelotti goes 433 with drogba upfront and anelka or malouda/kalou. Torres needs to be on the bench

Yep , I would agree with you . Torres coming off the bench after 60 minutes would be interesting . I've seen both Drogba and Torres torment Rio and Thugic in the past .
Torres just needs a good break , a decent pre- season and he'll be good to go for the new season .

Drogba really needs to be up for this game. If he isn't, we don't stand a chance.....

The rumours are true. No way Atkinson or Dean were going to ref it after their recent games involving Utd and Chelsea.

Fergie will be pleased, maybe. Then so will all us neutrals.
A team that has a neanderthal thug who parks in a disabled space and laughs at it having his photos taken afterwards , a team that has another yob caught recently speeding in a 30mph area, a team that has a libidious stoat who sends photos of his old boy to every slapper in town by phone, and a team that laughs and mocks the dead of 9/11 do not deserve to win the biggest trophy in English Football.

Interesting , you seem to know an awful lot about Stoke City !

Agree with what has been said.

Drogba ,Malouda and Kalou should be the starting three. I know there will be temptation to start Torres because he's scored and all but our best form has come with those three up front.

Torres should come on in the second half, as a fresh sub who could pose a different problem for the defence.

Anelka doesn't seem to fit in any equation at the moment. It's going to be interesting to see what happens if and when Sturridge comes back to the club.

Also increasing reports seem to be we are the favourites to sign Lukaku in the summer.

Wouldn't mind him if he's as good as projected. Would be a good signing for Chelsea.

That early goal took the wind right out of our sails, we were outplayed, simple as. But if you had told me a couple of months ago, we would finish in the top 3, I would have taken it. We have finished strongly, hopefully we will win the last 2 games...but rumours again that CA is on his way out and Guus H is on his way in, with Zola on the coaching staff. This summer is going to be very interesting, lots of rumours as per.

I think the biggest problem for chelsea this season has been playing in what i would call, an "italian" style. I dont know if it is ancelotti telling them to play this way, but to me chelsea are far too slow moving the ball about and look to build attacks slowly and methodically, a lot like teams like how AC milan play etc. I think the style just doesnt work in the premier league especially against a team like Man Utd. We walked into there trap if you ask me, Fergie got the tactics spot on. They looked dangerous with their pace going forward everytime they countered, and we were lucky not to lose by a bigger margin if it wasnt for cech and some luck. We kept going forward slowly, losing the ball and being countered at a fast pace which our defence couldnt cope with on most occasions. Overall, the pace of the premier league isnt suiting our slower style, we need to be faster and have better movement rather than trying to just slowly bulldoze teams.

Im not sure if getting rid of ancelotti would be the solution, but i think we need a pacy skilled winner such as sanchez to do something special and unlock defences if we are to do better next season. I also think lampard is starting to look leggy and really has been poor this season.

I wouldn't be adverse to someone like Modric at the Bridge. Oh the days of Duff and Robben tearing people apart down on the wings, I miss them!!

Essien hasn't recovered from his injuries this season, he is not the player he was this season. And I love Essien, hopefully he will get back to near his best next season.

Modric would an excellent addition. I think that Eriksen from Ajax looks a bright prospect as well as Neymar.
