Anybody upgraded their iPod Mini to 16gb or even 32gb?

Hi there,

I'm debating upgrading my iPod Mini upto 16gb when the price of the 16gb compact flash cards goes down a little bit more, but was wondering how many people have done that on here?

I think I'll stick with 16gb as that is more than enough space for me.

Cheers, Mark.

Here is a site with a few people that have done the upgrade already that I found: http://geektechnique.org/projectlab/...-now-with-16gb

Just finished upgrading mine now that the price of 16gb CF cards has gone down a little.

I replaced the standard battery for a 1000mA one, so that should make it last a bit longer + installed a A-DATA 16gb CF card that I bought new off Ebay for £30.

Just syncing the 1,300+ songs at the moment - should have room for a few more now.

Bit late in the day, but yeah I've done. Also put rockbox on there so I don't have to worry about using itunes (can't stand it). For anyone attempting it theres a massive thread over on headfi about it.

Found my iTunes went over 16gb (over 17gb in fact) last night when I downloaded loads of MP3's from Amazon, so I've just ordered a 32gb Peak compact flash card to replace my 16gb one. got the new card for £40 delivered off Ebay - will use the old one to upgrade my wifes 6gm iPod Mini.

Will update with how it goes (hopefully should be straight forward).

It was just too tempting to download 2 hour MP3's (mixes & whole continuous CD's) for 69p & 79p each - ended up downloading over 3 days worth.
