Thanks for posting that. It's so frustrating trying to get decent fish and chips but one of those is close to me so I'll check it out!

Good to see a Scottish winner after so long, though even better to see that the humble fish supper is outselling Indian take-aways.

I made a 1-and-a-half hour round trip last night to try out the winner.
My wife thought it was excellent. I thought the chips were perfect, and the fish was exceptionally fresh, but to my taste the batter was too crispy. I'm a soft batter man, me! |
