I applaud your commitment to outing people you deem as being hypocrites but maybe you might think about taking a step back and really look at Cameron. He hasn't gone into the BB claiming to be the Second Coming, he's a young Christian trying to 'find' himself. It's not that easy. He hasn't gone in there trying to covert the 'heathens' or preach his beliefs at anybody. For the most part he's kept his Christian beliefs to himself. If you really do feel so strongly about Cameron's 'hypocrasy' maybe you should write a letter to him explaining what it is you are seeing and where you think he has gone wrong rather than his church. Most trainee Christian would welcome constructive criticism in their bid to live a life more Christ-like. I realise he's not proclaiming himself to be spotless or anything but his point-blank refusal to face his own prejudices and spite by confronting the victim gives lie to his stated aim to try to follow the example of Christ. Keeping his beliefs to himself means that he should be trying to show by example. What example, I ask you? If everyone who wanted to be "good" in the Cameron way followed his example, where would that leave us, eh? No, it needs to be said in such a way that he may listen. I can think of no alternative. |

There is far worse in the world to be dealt with than a young man saying he would shit in someones shoes. |

Originally posted by ***Angel*** I drink occasionally. I have to say I wouldn't like to go for a drink with Ray either, as he seems pretty unstable. Both he and Cameron have annoyed me for different reasons. And I consider myself tolerant of different ideologies/lifestyles. Just, as I have said, Cameron revealed himself as rather intolerant of some things the HMs did (women drinking, discussing sex (Steff is also rather self-righteous about sex). Mind you, they seem on the whole to be a thoughtless bunch, with perhaps Nush being the least bad (and I didn't like her that much at first). I feel sorry for Lisa, as she hasn't been given a chance to rectify her ways and interact (I think that at least a HM should TRY) - so hope she stays in this week to give the other HMs a shock and perhaps remind them that people generally don't like bullies and will stick up for an underdog.
At last someone with good reasons not to like him I like Cameron but those reasons that you typed there i can understand for your dislike of him, they are similar to the reasons that i 'm not keen on Ray (too much drink, too unstable etc). Being a non drinker i find it easier to relate to Cameron than i do to Ray. |

Originally posted by Winston Smith Good point, any personal letter is unlikely to reach him. My only hope is that his church treat him gently ,with love and understanding if they choose to take your letter on board.
