Can't talk about tonight's because my dad messed up the recording while I was out - grrr, just had to vent that! :P

Enjoyed last week's but I haven't spotted the new Jordin yet. Was disappointed about the Jefferson AIrplane girl (Alexis) - she sounded good from halfway up the stairs, and I liked her choice of song - then I watched her audition in full, lol

The contestant most talked about by AI fans I've noticed is: Kristy Lee Cook. The one who sounded like Carrie Underwood. I thought she was great. Some people think she's even better than Carrie, but personally, I'll have to reserve my judgement until later on the series. Also other contestants talked about a lot are Kady Malloy, the aussie guy- Michael Johns, Brooke White. Let's not forget Renaldo!

The kid who bounced back from vocal chord paralysis impressed me. Being a country music fan, I wasn't expecting much from the 'La La land' auditions, Californians are either waaaay too high on attitude or completely out to lunch, like the big hippy bloke that looked like the big guy Hoby (?) from 'Lost'.. wtf ??
I'm hoping some gems get spotted tonight, is it South Carolina ??

Carly Smithson - the last auditionee last night, she had to drop out of AI5 due to visa problems. I detected an irish accent..went to look on youtube and I see her name was Carly Hennessey - she had an album out in Ireland when she was 17, I remember Blow Your mind on the radio.

Looks like some folk know her back story and are not happy.

Yes i remember her, a fabulous husky quality to her voice, sang 'Til you come back to me' and blew the three of them away. Her husband went a bit mad with his tattoos though !

The girl called London looks like she will be in the final 24

So far I like Christy(sp)-Lee Cook and Brooke White.

I'm not too fussed about the girl who Simon thought was so wonderful. The one who impersonated Britney Spears among others.

There were a couple of really good auditions last night one I liked called Jason and the other lad was a rocker with red in his hair ( sounds like a song that lol )

She likes a drop o' sauce at lunchtime does our Paula ! Apparently she's booked to 'perform' (spelt m-i-m-e) her new single during the upcoming Superbowl but Fox won't let her do it live !

The girls are really disappointing this year , like Season 2 and 5's ones. They're clearly aiming for a male winner.
