No, his being popular makes no difference in this situation. Cameron's fan club can't vote to save him, they can only vote to get someone else out.
Cameron and Steph start from the same position of vulnerability despite the differences in their fan club sizes. Both fan clubs will be voting for Lisa.
What does make a slight difference are the 'hater clubs'. Steph got 18% on Arse this morning, and Cam got 12 %. Both are at the lower end of the scale, which, if you assume a 600 000 vote (which is the order of size of the votes of the last two weeks) means that Cam is on 72 000 to Lisa's 420 000. The shortfall is 350 000 votes.
This number of votes is, considering the sizes of the last two weeks compared to the growing pattern of the first four weeks, easily overcomable, if those who disengaged in disgust pool the votes they haven't made so far, and put them on Cam.
In other words, it is possible to get Cam out.

Wouldn't it be better to wait until the final four to try and get Cameron out first, as, if people vote to get him out this week and it backfires on them, they have wasted their money and this means they will be giving even more of their hard earned pennies to Endermol to try again the following week. If we wait until the final four, where you vote for your favs instead of who you want out, surely there is more chance of getting the sham out. I know it means he will make it to the final four, but I think that is going to happen anyway, if Endermol and C4 have their way.
Also don't think we have much chance of getting him out next week either. We all know how Endermol do love their sham pairings off for the final four. It looks like it is going to be Cameron and Steph and Scott and Nush, which leaves Ray out in the cold, so wait for some really bias editing next week against Ray, to get him ousted out next, as he is sure to be nominated.
