I've had to scrap 2 recently recorded films from BBC2 (if memory serves me) - Dawn of the Dead and Ice Station Zebra. Bothe started bang on time with AR but had their ends cut off... It seems that the AR data at the end was not reset to a later start (as I'm assuming the beginning must have been). I also missed the end of Harry Hill yesterday.

I'll give it another week of so then I'll have to turn series link off, which is a shame as I tend to forget to record stuff.

It would be nice to auto pad important stuff such as films and use AR for other bits and bobs where losing the end ist o much of a problem!

You can always manually pad the films and still keep AR for the other 'bits and bobs.'

Oh yes, so I can!
I tried that before but it was on a show that was series linked so I assumed padding would ave the effct of turning everything off...

Well that's a bit better!

cheers

It looks like the Hummy doesn't quite use Accurate Recording properly.

Just how and why needs to be looked at.

When I've gathered enough instances I'm going to email them again! A few more emails wouldn't go amiss.

Yes.

Programmes with series link are indicated by a darker blue colour on the EPG and the little pages symbol when you are on them.

You are always asked whether you want to record the whole series or just one programme.

It's 25 I believe.

I expect it would tell you if you tried to exceed this number.

With Series Link set, I should have added.

BBC2 Natural World Sat - recording started several seconds in. no ads and no titles
itv You've Been Framed - Sat - recording started several seconds in to first clip. no ads and no titles.

These set to Series link. Other programmes in the week, not set to Series Link recorded OK.
Anyone else with examples?

Ooh! Just noticed that SKY 3 has Series Link data at the moment.
Its a shame there is nothing I want to record a series of on SKY 3.
I wonder if it will last?

has been ok for a week, then yesterday Ski sunday didn't record, today EE's and Life in cold blood didn't record. Fortunatly got last weeks casualty via bbc iplayer, but its really not good enough. Can't easily go back to version 20, so may have to use autopadding.

I am too much of a wuss to try it with Rescue Me, but I am having a go with Las Vegas as I am not too bothered if it goes wrong!
