Changing from 0870 to 0844 numbers

I've just had my Barclaycard credit card monthly bill, and they've announced they're changing all their numbers from 0870 to 0844 from 1st Feb.

This is so that they can continue to profit from income sharing from their customers calls now that 0870 numbers are being charged at the same rates as 01 and 02 numbers.

How many other money grabbing companies will be following Barclaycard's example?

Now don't be unreasonable, Barclays only makes about £5,280,000,000.00 profit per annum - they've got to do all they can to keep fleecing the punters.
