J'adore le Subways!
![]() They were the first proper gig I ever went to so they'll always hold a special place in my heart. Young For Eternity is a fun, easy to listen to album. I'd reccomend it to anyone. |

They came up on my iPod shuffle recently and I remembered why I liked them so much back in 2005. They had more or less slipped my mind though.

First album was pretty good, and theyre very much a live band!! I loved the rawness to them.
However I have listened to their new single and think its absolute crap!!!! Too muhc production on it, and theyve lost their "sound". They now sound american!!!! Shame, if the rest of the new albums like the single then its a really good band ruined! |

They made a return with their more Brit Grunge sound like Llama Farmer and Verbena Seafood style of music.

They're currently bringing out a new song, I forget what it's called... it is available to download.
It's called Alright... you can listen to the band talking about it at http://www.myspace.com/thesubways listen to the song http://www.youtube.com/user/tHeSuBwAyS and official site http://www.thesubways.net/. The song it described as: The most summery song they've done yet. (sorry didn't want to start a whole new thread) I'm just way too excited, they're my fave band as the thread title say :] p.s they look a lot older in the vid.

Seen them 4x, last time was at my Summerball.
I actually don't think it is possible for that band to play a bad gig?!?! Awesome live act, pure rock and roll! you can always see them loving it! Loved the first album, I think i will love the 2nd album but it will take me a couple of listens. With both the 2 new singles I didn't like them at first because it was a bit of a different sound, but after a few listens i love them! edit: didnt realised I had already posted in here... haha funny to see how I said their new song sounds crap... I do like it now! And they didnt sound american on the first record at all, duno how you can say that!! |
