Creative Zen M Vision - Help!
OrdinaryMorning

Hi,

I have a problem with my Creative Zen M:Vision.

It won't let me charge it up I've only had it about 6 months. I bought and adapter for it off e-bay as I was fed up with charging from my laptop all the time.

Anyway, that adapter has been working fine until last night. My battery got a 'warning' that it was so. So I plug the adapter to the MP3 Player and in the wall but nothing happened. The socket has a 'red' light come on when it is normally charging, but everytime I plugged the MP3 into the charger, the red light would come off. The red light would only come on when it was plugged into the socket without the mp3.

Nevermind, I thought, i'll just charge it up on my laptop. But that doesn't work either. I plug it in, expecting it to be 'docked' but it doesn't. The battery bar with the lightning doesn't come up either. Nothig is happening. Although i do get a flashing blue light where the 'on' button is.

Does anyone know whats wrong with it?

I'm already on my second mains charger. About £4 on ebay.

As to the lappy problems, there's a fab forum all about the Creative Zen Vision M:

Cheers for that link. Had my V Plus for a week and is now in permanent freeze. The reset does not help nor any of the other things Creative suggested. It is going back.

Can anyone suggested an alternative MP3 player (non-Apple)? Must have radio.

A lot of the iRiver products are pretty sweet.

Same thing happened to me. Solved it after leaving it plugged into my laptop for a couple of days straight.

I've had this. Just leave it charging for a few hours it will come back to life.

Already tried all that. It's a lemon brick.

It can take up to 24 or 48 hours.

Yep. Been at it all weekend. And if it is going to take 48 hours every time it throws a wobbler then that makes it unusable in practise.
