She is the most overated singer i've ever come across, Her voice is just annoying and every song she has ever done has had to have producers work miracles just to get it to sound half decent.

Sorry just had to get that off my chest.

Don't think anyone (even her fans) rate her as a singer. her 'voice' on that WOW nonsense is almost like she recorded it after a hit of helium.. utter disposable garbage.
If the song were any flimsier it would blow away.
and does she still think filter sweeps are in fashion?

I luuuuuuuuuuurve Kylie. Her current album X and Fever are great however Body Language was that great but a few tracks on that were not bad.

Come on who else loves Kylie?

Kylie's ace that's why she's lasted so long and is so popular.

Having perfect pitch 100% of the time isn't what makes an artist great. Bob Dylan and Shane McGowan can't sing either but that doesn't make them untalented or rubbish!

I dont think perfect pitch is whats important i love Punk etc... i dont care about pitch. I just like a voice to sound good and she doesn't.
She's got a nice bum and thats it as far as i can see.

Fair enough, thats your opinion. I think she has a lovely tone to her voice, and while she doesn't write all her songs herself she can't half belt em out in an endearing and entertaining way IMO.

You don't have however many consecutive hits she's had just by having a nice bum! As a large number of her fans are female or gay i'd say it doesn't matter at all in fact.

Anyone who was apart of the Stock Aitkin and Waterman club can never regain my respect. That pile of rubbish murdered pop music for a good 3 years.

Whatever happened to that nice little boy Rick Ghastly?

He's busy inflicting his songwriting skills on other artists.

I remember an improbable NME interview with Pete Shelley of the Buzzcocks from 1989 where he was raving about her vocal inflections on 'Hand on Your Heart'. I would also point to 'Come Into My World' and 'Better the Devil You Know' for examples of great pop vocals. He was right - the trouble is that she doesn't seem to realise what can be great about her voice and too often goes for a breathy effect that doesn't suit her, e.g. 'Slow'.

I think her vocals are worse on chocolate than slow. Her vocals can be strong, eg Hand on your heart, Better the devil you know 2 hearts Red Blooded women, but can be weak-eg chocolate

She's lost the plot really, she was once a little bubbly actress turned pop star who song happy bubbly songs etc.. But now she seems to think she is some kind of Pop legend.

Kylie's never been the strongest singer but she needs to be advised not to keep on going down the road of overstylized vocals in the vein of Slow, 2 Hearts and Chocolate, etc.

I've been a Kylie fan since I was a little girl, I got her first album as a 9th birthday present I love her newer stuff, but I'm a real fan of 80's pop so the late 80's/early 90's era is probably my fave
