I am a bit bewildered about the level of hatred geared towards Cameron. Although I am not a fan, I cant really see what is so hateable about him.

So heres some questions I would appreciate if someone could answer for me.

1. If he behaved in the same way without proffesion of Christianity would he still be hated?

2. When I saw him giving Ray the Chinese burn, he and all the others present at the time were laughing, including Ray, it seems it has been blown out of proportion, doesnt anyone else agree?

3. "Threatening" to put his fingers over Lisas windpipe in the diary room - this seemed to me to be humorous exasperation, and he immediately said he was joking and didnt mean it, again blown out of proportion anyone agree?

4. If he behaved like a Saint and never put a foot wrong wouldnt he be called dull and fake, or would he be liked and admired?

5. How much of the hatred is because people think its his fault that Fed and Jon were evicted?

It seems to me that the man is human with human faults, he is no worse than Steph, not as bad as Fed, he clearly struggles with his Christianity and often comes out wanting, but wouldnt all Christians say this is normal as long as we dont stop trying?

I'm not trying to defend Cameron here, I dont like him enough, lets say I am playing Devil's Advocate (no pun intended!)

I have been turned pro Cameron by the constant bleatings of the anti Cameron brigade. I still think that BB has messed up Cameron cos they thought he would be a figure of fun.

The chinese burn incident, as far as I saw that was the least the drunken pig deserved, but of course anti Cam would claim that it was C4 editing that showed the Oirish git in a bad light.

I fear your point 5 is a little too close for comfort and you shall receive a back lash of mass denials and selected memories of the anti Cam brigade as justification for their mania.

Remember C4 has fixed everything from the Africa trip to him LOSING the reward task.... It is getting a little tiresome.

I am still waiting for Cameron to be blamed for sexing up the Iraqi Weapons of Mass Destruction dossier, it's about the only thing they haven't tried yet.

From what I could see, Ray was questioning Father Camerons twisted mind and Cammy didn't like it.. His instinctive reaction was not to explain himself but to resort to violence - like a child would.

Well, some would consider me to be a Cameron "hater". Fact is, I don't hate him. I feel sorry for him, in a lot of ways. What I do hate, however, are his actions. These he can, and should, modify.

Verbal reasoning and educated debate tend not to work with drunken dolts, when they keep interrupting you by say f**k you, or f**k o*f, as I said above it was the least Ray deserved.

Answered the question basically and explained what he thought was wrong with Lisa. The only reason Cameron was on at Ray is that is was the night Ray had spent several hours with Lisa and he was looked on with suspicion when he returned to the group.

Well considering Cameron was TRYING to explain but Ray kept butting in .... I'd want to resort to violence too!

he then went on to systemactically turn everyone against Lisa (Please note: I am not a Lisa fan, so I'm not defending her, merely commenting on Cameron's actions!)

I and many others are not fooled by his recent "confession" of remorse in the diary room - If you or I are TRUELY assamed of what we have done, it is to the person concerned that we appologise, not to some stranger! - Added to that, the fact that, all of a sudden he has a change to heart just before the run up to an eviction - sadly, many just do not buy this!

He also moralises and comment and looks down his nose at others conduct!

As an Atiest all I can do is quote HIS bible - Before removing the splinter from someone's eye - remove the plank from yours!!!

I love how when Cameron happened to be the only housemate who bothered to go to the Diar Room and ended up going to Africa, it was accused of being a fix in numerous threads on this forum.

When he LOST this week's HoH challenge - I wasn't very surprised to see all the Cam-haters very quiet. RAY won and who wouldn't have guessed he was going to nominate cam? Seems a strange way for C4 (who incidentally hire 12 actors to take part in Big Brother just to fool us all with their devious plans) to 'fix' Cam winning Big Brother. which was obviously planned from the start.

Can I still answer the questions? I will anyway...

1) Of course not, and if Cam was Muslim or Jewish, he wouldn't either. Being Christian isn't a bad thing, but irrationally hating all Christians for trying to be good people is a bad thing. But when there is little else but simple human nature to criticise on irrational people latch on to whatever they can.

2) ditto, Cam haters conveniently forget the bad things their favourite housemates do. You don't see many Jon-lovers reminding us of how Jon had a go at Ray for 'mistreating' the ladies. That's what I call a severe case of hypocrisy.

3) Do viewers not ever take a look at themselves when dissing the housemates supposed two-facedness? Think of someone at work who you have to see every day, but can't stand. Do you honestly say that to them every day, or do you think 'I have to work/live with this person so I can't make things awkward'. Cam is simply letting off steam in the Diary Room, rather than create an even worse atmosphere in the isolated environment that is the BB house.

4) The house was boring, by the admission of this very message board, until Lisa arrived. Now they want her to leave because they don't like her, even though she is the subject of many positive and negative postings. So Cam would be boring and fake if he was perfect but annoying and two faced if he (shock horror) didn't get on wonderfully with every single human being in the world.

No. I deplore this kind of Neanderthal behaviour from anyone - not Cameron or Ray specifically.


What sort of person makes a joke about killing someone? The thought has to come from somewhere and Cameron has already demonstrated the potential to be implicitly violent in his bitching about Jon. Very nasty and very creepy.


I would like and admire him, as I did during the first two and a half weeks of BB4.


I dislike Cameron on his own merits. Nothing to do with Jon and Fed. I also dislike the blatantly biased editing of Jon on his eviction night by Channel 4 but that actually has very little to do with Cameron.


But Cameron doesn't try to modify his behaviour, to be a better person. He remains a very suspect character with his obsessive bitching about Jon and Lisa, smug attitude (pontificating to the others about how they are the perfect housemates after Tania's eviction) and creepy flirting with Nush.

My conclusion: Someone whose flaws outweigh any good points he might have. Not a very balanced personality and not a particularly nice person.

Well according to some I have because the editing is so biased towards Cameron is it any wonder I support Cameron.

I do not particularly like any of the HMs, all in all they are a very sad shower of individuals, but I find positives in what I see of Cameron, cos I read so much hatred of him here.

What hypocrisy?

Jon was *defending* the women, expressing his opinion of Ray's antics in the girls' bedroom. He was not spreading malicious gossip since he spoke to Ray directly - something Cameron would never have the guts to do. Overall, Jon's behaviour is hardly in the same league as giving someone a Chinese burn or making jokes about blocking someone's windpipe.

I doubt there are many people who haven't threatened to kill someone at some point, whether joking or just angry, though very few actually go ahead and do it. I don't think Cameron is preparing to enlist the help of the other housemates and murder Lisa.

And as much as I want Lisa to stay, are you seriously telling me that her banging on about how she couldn't breathe didn't get annoying?

I've actually hated several people in my life, but I have never wished them to come to physical harm, let alone me contemplating about assaulting or killing them. It's what's called keeping things in perspective.

As for Lisa's breathing problems, whether she was faking or not, I assumed she was having a panic attack and felt sympathy for her. It's what's called human empathy and kindness.

Qualities that Cameron seems to sadly lack.

I think a few of us expected Cameron not to win that task, that would have been too easy, better for him to be left on his lonesome, thus gaining even more votes from the public, sympathy votes this time, that added to the Cameron favourable editing that is going on.

Oh by the way, I DON'T hate Cameron, just dislike him. Also I disliked him LONG before Jon ever got evicted, so some people on here, not neccesarily yourself really need to change the record and stop using the same old excuse of Jon fans hating Cameron because Jon was beaten in the vote, that excuse by Cameron fans is really getting overused and old now, and is hardly accurate. Some of you Cameron fans need to come up with something more original for a change.

Also if you read back through some threads, you will see SOME Jon fans, actually posted at the time that they thought Jon may have been wrong to have a go at Ray, I was not one of the posters btw.

Since then he has apparently, (according to ds forum members, anyway) been responsible for all the bad things that have happened in the world.

This is always the lazy refuge for Cameron fans who are unable to put forward a valid argument defending his conduct in the house.

I take issue with this statement.... To accuse Jon of hypocrisy here would be to suggest that Jon is accustomed to mistreating women... I dont think anyone could reasonably say that....
Jon, On hearing Steph SCREAM ...... came out of the boys room, walk up to ray and ask him if he ever hits women... Ray said "No!".. Then Jon said... "So why do you MENTALLY abuse them?"... Ray laughed and Jon said "I'm serious mate"........Then he walked away
All Jon did was react to what he had heard.. OK so maybe he should have checked if Steph was Ok.. but all the same, he did the right thing to stick up for Steph, thinking she was genuinely frightened, same as any gentlemanly man might have done. The girls thanked him the following morning and Steph said then that she had been very frightened at the time.... to call him a hypocrite is completely unjust..

I hate Cameron because he's a hypocrite that is holier than thou when it comes to others, shame he doesn't apply that to his own actions.

And I'll give examples before the Cammy fans start baying for my blood.

1.He went in the diary room and complained about Jon talking to him about someone else. If I remember correctly he said he didn't like that kind of behaviour. He then turns around and does the same about Jon and Lisa e.g Jon being patronising and we all know what he's said about Lisa so I won't go there.

2.Nominated Jon for going to the diary room too much. Now how many diary room trips does Cameron make in a day?

3.Complained about not being spoilt in the house once. I guess he convieniently forgot his trip to Africa, his two weeks immunity from nominations, the countless gropes the girls allow him, the girls treating him differently to the guys e.g Anouska letting him in the bathroom when she was naked etc etc.

4.Nominated Nush for labouring a point too much and interupting others in the house. I guess he doesn't think he's laboured his points on Lisa to much and has forgotton how he constantly interupted Abby when he told her to shut up and wouldn't let her speak.

5.Complained about the spin the bottle game. Inappropriate behaviour is sucking a woman's finger or licking someone's chest. By that token, appropriate behaviour is sticking your hand down someone's crack after she tells you she has no knickers on, groping women's arses on a regular basis etc.

6.He's not religious. That's why he quotes the Bible and gets it out whenever he's nominated. I'm not religious either and I do that ALL the time.

I don't think I need to go on any more...but here's one for luck. He loves to make threats (throwing toxic eggs, putting thumbs over windpipes, punching people's faces to the back of their throats) but he has the gall to tell Steph she should be scared over Lisa's sleepwalking, because you just know Lisa's going to get up and kill Steph in her sleep.

Oh and I bet you anything, if any other housemates had made threatening comments about him, he would be in that diary room begging BB to get rid of that person.

Why do I hate Camoron,

1. The dirty looks he gives people
2. The way he **accidently** walks into the bathroom/girls bedroom when they are in a state of undress
3. The backstabbing, and then the appology in the diary room (ie not got the balls to appologise to the person)
4. The favouratism with regards to the editing.

In short he is a creepy, pervert, with psycotic tendences, who BB seem to want to win.
