Lisa - interesting?
Juicer
09-07-2003
I keep reading on this forum and in the news ... keep Lisa in, she'll make it more interesting.

Sorry but I think she's just as boring as everyone else. Other than talk utter nonsense and spend a lot of time on her own, I fail to see what it is about her that has made interesting viewing?

OK, I agree, she seems to be irritating the other housemates, but it's not exactly interesting is it? All we're seeing are mammoth bitching sessions. No real action.

I feel that her promise to 'say something after Friday' is just an appeal to the public to keep her in. I don't believe for a minute that she has any intention of blowing her top. All talk - no action.

Now, if she were to blow her top right now - go marching into the garden and saying 'RIGHT YOU B&STD LOT! Stop treating me like an effing leper!' THEN I'd believe that she has the balls (sorry, another thread) to set the cat among the pigeons. All this talk about doing it after eviction on Friday is a pathetic promise of action we won't see.

She said she was going in to stir it up, but she's done very little to confront the housemates personally about their failings and prefers instead to whine in the diary room for hours or sit moping about. Get a grip!

I honestly do not believe if she's kept in that the situation will change. There won't be any action. If Steph goes, Cameron won't blow his top, he'll just continue to bitch about her and ignore her. If Cameron goes, Steph won't confront her either. None of them are confrontational. Even fliphislid Ray won't start a barnie with her, they're all too conscious of the cameras.

She's not interesting.
She won't get stuck into anyone
She's as boring as the others.

So give it up with the 'keep her in and keep it interesting' tripe.

Lisa is similar to Narinder in that she wants to cause trouble but hasn't got the guts for face-to-face confrontation. Unlike Narinder she has no friends at all in the house and hence no-one to bitch to, so she has to slink off to the diary room to do it

She is interesting to the extent that we're talking about her, but if she stays in the house for another two weeks I wont have anything more to say about her.

Like the other 12 HMs this year, she is simply not an entertainer.

She's not interesting, entertaining, or likable. She's just hideous.

I agree with many of the above points ...truthfully.

I think the basic assumption is, when you scan down the list of DS threads and note that two thirds of them mention Lisa (as they did in the early days - you'll note that they don't so much now), that people think that at least she gives people something to write about and therefore is at least entertaining as a fall guy. Even if they're mostly recording the opinion that she's an utter, utter, self-promoting Walter Mitty-complex rough-as-a-badger's-arse Ronsealed loopy jabbering fantasist who makes your ears clang shut when she starts chuntering and who's only going to be relased to RI:SE and BBLB next week if her Care In The Community case worker advises it.

My assumption is that this will be the lowest turnout for a vote yet - because, it's statistically the least likely that your 25p will make the blindest bit of difference. Some polls quoted her as 94% most likely to go! The bookie's return-on-investment is worse than leaving your money in the bank. However much you hate Cam or Steph, they're going nowhere on Friday - I think this week Julyan can stop whinging about the costs of transporting family from Orkney to London for eviction nights and stay home safe and sound.
