Hi everyone. On the Viewty you can view the internet pages, including youtube, however I can't seem to watch a video on it. It says that either my java is not on or flash player is our of date. When I click on the click on the link to get the new version, it says: not found.

Anyone can shed any light on this?

I don't think the Viewty has flash, I may be wrong but chances are you can't view the videos on it.

Well at least the Viewty can send MMS and take video clips which is something the i-phone can't for all of the £900 it costs on a contract!!

Youtube seems to be network dependent and on 3 there is no problem viewing clips although the selection available is limited. 3 have a dedicated Youtube icon in their Luncher section. Sending video to Youtube is seamless with the Viewty and is a simple option from the Send Menu after you take a video.

The Viewty is not a poor mans iPhone at all, it carries a lot of features the iPhone doesn't.

And yes the Viewty carries flash, comes pre-installed.

The Viewty and iPhone are not alike. People think because they're touch screen phones they're copies/cheap mans versions of each other.

The iPhone is designed to be a multimedia phone (an iPod with a phone attached), whereas the Viewty is primarily a camera phone.

I was going to get an iPhone but I chose the viewty over it. I am so glad, too. 137 pictures from an amazing night in perfect quality!

I know. In complete darkness, and in a club, amazing pictures were taken with that phone.

I just don't understand why the viewty can't go on to youtube, when it has java and flash.
