If you frequently have that scenario you are watching too much television

I rarely have even a single clash, let alone a clash twice in a row. For me that scenario might occur once in 2 years, I could live with losing the padding on that one occasion - the 99.9% working is better than 0%. Even if it were a relatively frequent occurrence 80% working (say) is still better than 0%.
Bear in mind as well for that to happen you actually need the 4 programs to be on 4 different channels (well, logically that is the case, but I know the Humax isn't implemented well enough to work that out).
