Simple answer. No.

A CD player cannot read DVD discs.

Your only option is to burn mp3 files onto a CD. But that requires a CD player that is capable of reading data disks as well as audio disks and can understand the mp3 format. If it is an Audio only player then that option isn't available.

A DVD will never play in a CD player. Doesn't matter if there's songs on the DVD, it will not play. It will work on a computer with a DVD drive, or DVD players that can play mp3 DVDs.

You could just make some audio CDs to play in your car.

A better alternative is to buy an FM transmitter which you plug into an mp3 player like an iPod into the headphone socket. The transmitter broadcasts your music on a certain frequency of your choice. You simply tune your car radio to the same frequency.

The sound quality varies depending on player, transmitter and car radio but it gives you more flexibility. Or just burn audio CDs as above - nero will let you do that.
