Is Ray very Irish?

I know Ray was born and brought up in Ireland, so is Irish whether he likes it or not - but I wonder how important it is to him. He has lived in London for some time and has a job in IT. He could have got a job in this field as easily in Dublin. However he chooses to live in London not Dublin. Now with this so called St Patrick's Day celebration, some of the other HM's seem more interested/keen about it than he does.

He does seem to have a somewhat ambivalent attitude to Ireland, and as you say,it's curious why a 25 year old IT worker from Dublin felt the need to emigrate to London.

Then again,he said last night he was going to ask BB if he could keep one of the Irish flags in the bar

Yes keep one of the flags as a momento, does it mean any more to him than that.
It's interesting that the English tabloids, when writing about him, say Ray Shah from London not Dublin.

To be fair though, most people have referred to him as being Irish.

The reason why Brian,Anna and Ray were all Irish emigrants is that BB is only open to residents of the UK.They should consider opening it up to people from Ireland in future......the UK public seem to like them.

Are you sure about that. I assumed as often happens that the ROI is unofficially counted as part of the UK for things like this, as the UK channels are watched widely in ROI - especially in the East.

But wht does he wear an England football top. I don't not any Irshman that would do that, he might as well wear a Glasgow Rangers top. Seems weird that one.

I live in a very large Irish community and all of them would rather cut their heads off than to wear an England shirt.

I could understand Ray wearing a Liverpool shirt (large Irish following) or Man U scum sorry shirt but certainly not an England top.
