hello...

I've got a bread making machine which I use a lot.

recently I wanted to try a wholemeal recipe, the recipe calls for Vitamin A (I think!) but I hav eno idea where to source this.

is there a special breadmaking substance I should use?

Or can I nip into my local "Julian Graves" and purchase a few Vitamin A pills and use those?

Anybody know?

Ta

Have a look in Holland & Barrett, they have all different flours and things for bread making. Perhaps someone there would be able to help you. Good luck

it helps the bread rise a bit more when baking wholemeal, you can even use the orange ones.

I found these flours good:

as 1 pack and 300ml of water bakes a large loaf and its all pre mixed, no messing around measuring stuff.

One of my bread recipes requires a vitamin C tablet crushed into it, so maybe you could use a vitamin tab

Yeah Vitamin C with Wholemeal Bread not Vitamin A and it'll work without it but if you can get it I'm told it makes the bread lighter.
