Where to buy a Humax in store.

Well I ordered my Humax Silver in time for xmas online, however after 2 faulty boxes have been sent and returned to the online company, here I am on the 28th January with no xmas present .

To make things worse I go onto the comet website to find that they are out of stock of the Silver, and although there is lots of black ones there appears to be no silver.

So does anyone know of a high street store (Wanna pick the box myself, not amused with the rubbish the online company sent me) that sells the Silver.

Many Thankz

I got mine (Black) from John Lewis just before Xmas for £199 (not sure what the price is now.)

At least with JL you know they have good customer service if anything goes t*ts up.

Hi.

I bought a grade A, 9200t from HUMAX for £129.95, and save a lot compared to an in-store price.

from here

regards

John.

Apparently M&S have been selling them for £125, but you have to ask as they're not out on display.
Sorry I've not seen this deal myself, only read about it on forums.

I did enquire locally last week and apparently it's only the larger stores. They didn't even have the facility to order one. So much for M&S's customer (dis)service

Advert link on this very page for Martin Dawes.

Order on-line for £160
Select delivery to store = no delivery charge and you get to collect it.

It is odd - in store for £199 or collect and on-line order in store for £39 cheaper!!

My local Comet had one on display last time I was in. The web-site is different to what's in stores.

Stock seems really low of Humax's. Are they on there way out or something?

Anyone got any info in the "SOLD OUT" I seem to keep finding.

Richer Sounds are a good place to get a Humax. They have a good returns policy. Was going to get one but went for a £15 dvb usb stick from Maplins instead.

They sell them in Dixons/Currys.

Got mine from John Lewis a couple of weeks ago ...1st one was faulty, and when I contacted them to replace, only one store in the South East (Watford) had any stock ...they said there was high demand and it was difficult to get supply. More due in on the 18th ...

I think you are just seeing normal stock fluctuations for the 9200. They seem to arrive in this country by the container load so I would expect supply to improve shortly.
