Only credible song on that album. http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=72g8p1XsvoU Vengaboys- Boom boom boom: 1999? Blatantly a great number 1 ![]() .http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=12q2SZTHsCo Eternal- Stay: 1993. Back when Louise was in the group. Harem Scarem - Something To Say (audio)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5-zjcz2S2-Q I don't think they were ever fashionable at the time, and the form of hard rock that they were plying was certainly out of step with the trends of the 1990's. However, good music is good music, regardless of when it was recorded... |

Ride- a really great indie band from the early 90s who made some great songs, this being their best:
http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=1hlzJi...eature=related That was a very young Andy Bell (now of Oasis, not of Erasure) at the begining, and his follow up band Hurricane #1 had a few good songs too. Anyone remember this one? http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=cvbbsPTzpfA |

Chapterhouse were ahead of Nirvana on the 1991 Reading Festival bill:
http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=CiG6OKPiYVU Moose were lumped in with the shoegazing scene before they expanded their musical direction: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=xXB0tIuQCdU Heavenly were one of my fave Sarah Records bands. Lead singer Amelia Fletchers brother Matthew (the drummer) tragically committed suicide: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=Wk4SCerUO5o Fellow Sarah Records cohorts Even As We Speak were awesome: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=nmJFgBZGZSI |

China Drum - Barrier (1995)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ivOLUAt89j4 3 piece punk band from the north east of England, that gained regular airplay on the Radio One evening session back in the mid 90’s. The drummer was lead singer, quite a feat – considering the furious tempo that some of their tracks had! I don’t think they gained any real commercial success, certainly not compared to American acts at that time; such as Green Day and Offspring. |
