i know a couple of you were on here sometimes during bbch,so it would be cool if you could let us know a bit about how jez is doing over the next few days.

By popular request, this thread is now an appreciation thread. Therefore, from today (2nd June 08) all posts must follow the appreciation thread rules, i.e. no negative posts.

Don't know how you'd go about finding it, but his mate JONNO put a link up in a thread with info about Jeremys racing. Not sure if it was an ongoing site as I never read it, but might be worth a look if you can find the thread again.

Can't remember the exact date of the thread, but it was just before his first time on BBLB so it must have been near 1st eviction night. Sorry I couldn't be more specific but hope it helps

Well I do recall one of the first threads that was posted by Jeremy's mate, and he got some stick.

If he looks back on it...the thread got turned around totally by what he was going to say on BBLB by myself, Toxic and Carrierbag.

I hope he recalls that it was that was the turning around of Jezza's support on this forum.

---> yep smug ...in total support of the smug Jez

Wow, that's mental. Apparently he was the MSA British Cadet Karting Champion in the year 2000, when he would presumably have been 11 or 12 or something. I thought he was supposed to be a racing driver?

If you read the biography on Jeremy's site you will see that he transferred from karting to cars in 2005

I think it would be great if one of Jeremy's friends kept us informed of how he's doing as I would be very interested to hear about how he's getting on

He is. Most racing drivers start out in Karting as youngsters. They work up through the different levels if they are good enough, ended at Formula 1.

I hope he carries on his racing success , he seems like a very genuine young man with a lovely family backing him ...it would be nice to see him in F1 in years to come.

I've never heard of him. I've heard of Schumacher and David Coulthard (he's fit) and Lewis Hamilton (he isn't) but I've asked everybody and nobody's ever heard of Jeremy Whatsit.

I won an egg and spoon race when I was eleven but you don't see me running around claiming to be an Olympic athlete, do you, and winning a race in a go-kart when he was little doesn't suddenly make him a racing driver.

And another thing is that when they did that task, everybody showed us their talents but when it was Jeremy's turn he was just sitting there playing on a little playstation thing.

What did you expect............a racing car in the garden so he could do a few laps?

Here is the thread by Jeremy's friend when he wrote to defend him (very well). Please come back Friend of Jeremy, we would appreciate some news of how things are going for him.

Well they had a crane on the site when they lifted Makosi off the ground, and they managed to dump a million tons of snow in the garden and you can't say they didn't, because Jeremy was lying in the snow. So they could have used a crane to put a racing car in the garden and not a little go-kart either I mean a proper racing car because he told everybody he was a proper racing driver.

And once he had sat in the racing car....???

Well you see, that would have been the interesting part, because being in a real car is different to being on a playstation but you notice we didn't get to see that did we, so we don't even know if he would know what all the switches and buttons are for, in a real car.

An unfamiliar playstation game was indeed a poor way for Jeremy to demonstrate his talent, but naming the switches in a racing car would surely have been worse.

Nobody told him to name the switches. We all want to know if he can drive a racing car. He told Emilia that he's a really good overtaker but nobody has ever seen him overtake anybody, and last year there were only three people in the whole year who overtook Lewis Hamilton, and Jeremy wasn't one of them. It's like Clark Kent and Superman - you never see them in the same room, and nobody has ever seen Jeremy driving a racing car or winning races or anything. All we've ever seen him do is play with a playstation, and anybody can do that.

How would that prove anything tho'? It isn't as if the garden is big enough for him to race round in.

Well he did overtake Nathan for fifth place but that may just have been a fluke

Umm, he is a real racing driver, not sure where the confusion is.

Try driving one of these:
