Please dont turn this into another thread about why you hate cameron or anyone else!!

However i have noticed that over th elast few days there has been more negative stuff shown on the C4 show and on BBLB. This is in sharp contrast to a couple of weeks ago when it was Cam this and Cam that!

The thing that causes me more concern is the difference in facts shown on the site compared to the Official BB site. The live updates here paint a very different picture to events that the official site does?

Has anyone else noticed this?

Since there's fewer people in the house and the Lisa bitching is the only thing happening they had to show it. Before there were different people to focus on so they could bury what Cam did to suit their storylines...

Is it because there's less and less favourable stuff to show about Cameron so even the editors are having a hard time? I have E4 on most of the time (background) but I'm struggling to think of anything at all that he's done in the past few days that made me look up and start watching.

That's not an anti-Cameron statement, just an overall impression.

yeah thats fair enough but to deliberatly distort what people are saying- not just cam is out of order.

Well objectively, Ch4 should show a balenced view every single time!!!

It is VERY annoying to have whoever you support shown by only their bad bits or by the very editing taken out of context, and looking like something it wasn't!

Sadly, I don't think that Ch4 worry in the slightest - Instead of producing what they are meant to be doing "A unbiased study of 12 pepole in a house" - it's just anything for sensation at any cost! - that pulls in viewers and votes and that means MONEY!

Now, if they are being anti-Cameron, that does redress the balence a bit, but also proves that for a time they were beliberately being Anti-Someone else! - People complained about this and it would seem with hindsight that at the time, they were in fact right!!!

Still there is very little that can be done about it appart from not voting!

I mean let's face it, Ch4 have been editing it that way so that they can make a boring progamme into something interesting!
The newspapers do it all the time - "Celebrity XXX is pregnant!" and 1000's say "SO WHAT" - but some must want that sort of thing as it sells papers! - They are not interested in FACT or REALLITY only sensation sells - But that's kind of Wrong if you are doing a "REALLITY" TV SHOW !

I expect the editors have simply decided to change their emphasis, believing that their version of BB4 "The True Story" needs a new twist.

The selective editing to give their version of the truth is nothing new. The editors have done it in every series of Big Brother in the UK.
I just wish it didn't annoy me quite so much.

They are now focusing on only the good things that goes on between Nush Scott and Ray,.

Two of which i am big fans off.

Its just not fair on the poeple that the producers decide are no longer req for the ratings

I think a lot of the original editing in favour of Cameron was because of his non existant relationship with Steph that they hoped would develop if he stayed in the house it was made a big deal of on one of the psychology programmes. Now that they have Scott and Nush playing for the cameras Cameron is now expendable considering that Ray has a big teenage following who will vote loads in the final week, I cant think of an excuse for Steph dont like her and wish she went ages ago but would still rather have her there than Cameron

I would love him to go this week but am sure that if the editing continues then he will def go next week ( big party all round!!!!)

Yup, Cameron now seems officially expendable. During the BBA swap and the following week , Cameron was the chosen vehicle to boost ratings, hence the ridiculous over exposure on C4. D'ya remember Jon and Fed arriving on BBLB, only to be asked to help find a girlfriend for Cam ?! Now he may be chopped down by those who built him up, hoping to create enough of a difference of opinion outside the house to get a few phones ringing. C'est la vie en reality TV.

The same is happening this year. They edit it to suit themselves.
This is the reason so many Jon supporters ( myself included) became so angry .... They didn't show Cameron in a negative light at all when he was clearly making comment's .. ie " shite in his shoes"....
Now they have probably another favourite.( hard to say yet if it's Scott). Cam has had his use so they will now show what he is REALLY like.
This isn't slagging off Cameron.

HA ... I remember that episode of BBLB. Dermot had two of the most interesting housemates on the show and they spent 10 minutes talking about Cameron and how lovely he is to middle-aged women. Brilliant!

This was the week when BB and BBLB turned into "The Cameron Show". However I've noticed that Channel 4 BB is now showing the dark side of Cameron although I've no doubt that he'll win BB4 because of his popularity amongst the GBP.

CH4 are aware of exactly who they could use as a "winner" and who isn't suitable .
In the end its always the person who is mr or mrs average .."Craig...Kate..ect....
They have to be able and prepared to put their careers and lives on hold while they do the publicity.They also have to give the right "image" for BB.
Nush or Scott are their kind of people and as such the editing will start highlighting Scott more in the next fortnight .

Apart from making huge amounts of money for channel 4 the Big Brother game concept is to see how 12 strangers live and behave together in enforced captivity away from anything and anyone that’s familiar to them.
Now it seems that the makers of BB have decided on a little twist it started last year and has continued this year “ lets see how gullible the British public really are” The Makers have taken a leaf out of the British Press books who are renown for building a person up only to take great pleasure and make lots of cash in knocking them down when the mood suits them
