Yes. They all get 30 for every day they spend in the house.

I think it's more than that now isn't it? It always used to be in line with what you would get paid for Jury Duty which now stands at just under 60 per day.

They should move away from winner-take-all in reality TV shows.

Stop people voting for who-needs-the-money-most with contestants and their families dragging up sob stories.

In Australia 2nd place gets $20,000, car, holiday and 2 phones. 3rd to 12th place get $10,000, car, holiday and 2 phones. 13th to whatever don't do so well but they all get holidays and some cash. Not saying you should do the same but there is merit in 2nd to 6th place who made the final getting some cash, stops the voting for a HM because they need the money as they all will get some. Prizes stop people walking too, only one person walked in all 7 series of BB in Australia, a few have been chucked out though.

in our version they are all pretty much guaranteed a few grand from some magazine interviews but it would be nice if they livened up the winnings so you get something for coming in third
a holiday would be nice so you can avoid the press if you want to

The chances are that in this country the press would probably sponsor the holiday in order to get the 'exclusive' shots etc...

The sponsors put up the prizes in australia, a travel company puts up all the holidays, a car company all the cars and a bank or finance company put's up the cash but not the 1st prize. 3 mobile the phones. They seem to do better with sponsors down here, and they have quite a lot of sponsors, the sponsors product labels on the show don't get covered up.

There are less opportunities for evicted HM in mags, PA's etc but a lot of them have done quite well here.

It was kind of similar in BBAfrica - loads of sponsored items and so on, even haircuts and clothes while they were still in the house.

Well they don't go that far here, but our budget requires some big names to come on board to put on BB here.

Yes. They all get 30 for every day they spend in the house.

But should refund 29.99 of every 30 they were paid.

As well as your 70,000, did you also get your 30/day or whatever that sum is?

I suspect that they all received a fee to make it worth their while appearing on a potentially damaging show. More than the fees paid to those who appear on the summer show. But not as much as they would pay so called celebs.

I think each housemate gets paid for their time in the house, but not very much as it's just compensation for their loss of work time. It's like 30-50/day I think. I believe none of them should be paid anything for just going in. If they really wanted the experience they'd do it for nothing. I would like them to introduce a prize for housemates who reach the final (as it's 90 odd days wasted) but nothing major. Something like 5% of what the winner gets (5 grand) and maybe a BB mug lol.
