Ipod Touch Error 1602?

Hey all

Apologies if this has already been posted somewhere else on here, but I've had a good look and haven't found anything.

Bought myself a 16GN Ipod Touch yesterday (), so went home to try and get the 1.1.3 software update. I've tried half a dozen times or so to get it, but with no luck. In the end I googled the code and have found loads of sites giving instructions on how to sort it.

The advice from Apple was to completely remove any trace of Itunes, Quicktime and any other Ipod-related stuff from your PC, and then download the newest version of Itunes. I followed the instructions to the letter, but when I reconnected the Touch and tried to download the update again, I still got the same message. Grrr.

I had to stop playing with my PC as it was getting on for midnight by the time I'd got that far, so I haven't had chance to try again today, but has anyone else had this problem, and if so did you find a way around it?

I'm loving the Touch, but am a trifle frustrated with it at the mo, so any advice would be appreciated!!

Cheers

Sarah

Cheers peeps

I did manage to get it sorted this afternoon. All I had to do was restore all the setting on the Touch. I reconnected it and it all sorted itself out no problems! I think I must have just been too tired last night.
