Is this deal as good as it seems?

Sony KDL-40V3000 + Sony BDPS300 blu-ray dvd player all for £999.01??????? Is this tv good? I am novice in all of this so easy to understand answers would greatly assist thanks |

HD-DVD is the one losing support on an almost daily basis, more and more studios and companies are backing Blu-Ray.

Blu ray I think is the way the industry is going, hd-dvd is going the beta-max way i think.
Anybody got the tv though, is it a good set? |

You are totally right man The PS3 has a very fan, but this fan actually comes with speakers that are built-in the fan. These aren't ordinary speakers, they're 5.1 I mean gosh man, its so loud you run the risk of going deaf KEEP AWAY FROM THE PS3 |
