Anyone else heard this? I loved her first two albums but this is the best IMO, it's very well constructed as an album and there's some great tracks on there.

What;s her music like?? I might download- but at work at moment and can't lol.
I loved her in Rent and Enchanted.
She looks like Nelly Furtado so imagine it like her early stuff.

The first album, Still I Can't Be Still, is kind of pop/rock style. The second, Here, is acoustic and the third, I Stand, is described as pop.

I think I Stand is the best, then Still I Can't Be Still, but they're all good. If you like Idina, it's definitely worth tracking them down.

(I was so annoyed they cut the Idina/James duet out of Enchanted. I hope it's on the DVD.)

I might download this...I saw her in Wicked and much as I wasn't keen on the show, her voice just blew me away.

My copy arrived this morning, and while I do really like it, in a way I'm also slightly disapointed. It's too short and it's really overproduced. It's not got the raw quality that there was in Still I Can't be Still. And four of the tracks seem to have been out for ages, they just aren't new, and of the other's two were in the promo video, well the chorus of them.
My fave tracks are probably Better to Have Loved, and Let Me Fall. There's no bad song on the album, and it'll be living in my cd players for the next few months, because afterall it is Idina and she is an amazing singer no matter what she's singing.
The music video for Brave premiered today. It's very weird, but she does look absolutely stunning in it.

Have you heard the bonus tracks, too? Three are acoustic versions of album tracks and two others (LMF is one of them so you've obviously heard that).

I think SICBS is definitely more raw and more powerful in that way, but I love I Stand too. Idina's got a great voice no matter what she's singing. You can really hear how she's grown as a singer over the last ten years by listening to them back to back.

I think my favourite tracks on I Stand are Gorgeous, Let Me Fall and Better To Have Loved. Like you say though, there's no bad song, no song I'd skip over.

Yeah, I've heard the bonus tracks. I wasn't too keen on God Give Me Strength. It seems a little random to have Idina singing cover versions when she has so many songs of her own she could have recorded. I think the acoustic I Stand is better than the album version. Brave acoustic is ok, but I'm getting a little sick of Brave. I think I've heard it too many times. Gorgous acoustic is good, but then any version of that song is good. I even like the dance remix they did.
Had the album on in the car on the way to work today, and some of the other songs are really starting to grow on me, especially Don't Let Me Down and My Own Worst Enemy.
