not sure he is a big enough name here in all honesty..apart from 99 problems, i struggle to think of any of his solo hits.

he's only famous for his raps on 'crazy in love' and 'umbrella' over here really

Kanye West would have been a much better choice, if they wanted a rap artist.

Jay Z is really huge over in the US, one of the richest if I remember correctly, but Kanye would definetely have been a better choice.

His newest US Tour sounds so good, probably why he won't be doing Glastonbury. Its a Neon Themed Tour with massive support acts.

Yeah Kanye would've been good for the popularity stakes but Jay-Z is clearly the better Rapper.
