Week 3 - Random song Generator
What another jam packed week we have had! Last week shocked everyone as it saw show favourite TVQueen eliminated from the competition. This led to slight uproar between some forum members; this ended up leading to the groups being joined into one big group! Now with 2 mentors to help them, each act had to master a song which they had no control over, picked by the “Random Song Generator.” Then last night, everybody was waiting tensely for the show to begin, but it never did! Due to even more bloody technical problems the show was unable to go ahead, but here it is now Welcome to DS Factor!

Pooley – Chasing cars
http://www.box.net/shared/ksqwg3pq8g NickyNoodle When I heard you were singing this song I was delighted as this should be a song you're great at. The start was a bit off but I think it got better asit went on. I think it was better than last week, but remember how high the standard is so people need to vote for you because after last week it seems no-one is safe. Also I liked your version of the chorus. Suebeee I’m so glad you’ve got the sound sorted out this week. It’s lovely to be able to hear your vocals over the music. You have such a pure vocal tone which works perfectly for this song. A couple of flat notes, but I think this may have been due to you being over-cautious on where to place your voice in parts, but this did not deter from your over-all performance. I’d love to hear you sing some Evanessence because you have the haunting (and I mean that as a compliment) rich/pure tone that would totally dominate a song such as *My Immortal*…. Beautiful song and voice to boot. Very well done AlfieandCharlie I know how nervous you were about this song pooley...but there was no need to be. A few of the nerves did come through in the song, if you had trusted yourself more it would have smoothed over. What your body does, your voice will do...so if you clam up and panic, your voice shows that. You have a really haunting quality to your voice and i mean that in a good way, a very good way in fact! Its really nice to listen to. If you take your voice on a journey or riff, just remember to bring it back again and keep control of it. A really good song |

Malik – Livin La Vida Loca
http://www.singsnap.com/snap/watchan.../play/b19ef8a9 NickyNoodle Another improvement, not vocally as strong as the others but you're catching them up. You raised your game and the fun factor could be your saviour. But the most improved over the three weeks. Plus you looked hot without your glasses. But keep working hard and you could make the top 3 Suebeee Move over Ricky Martin - Sammalicious is in the building!!! You took this song and you ran away with it! The energy you gave was astonishing. You gave this 110 percent both vocally and performance wise. This is my favourite performance by all 4 acts this week and I want everyone to vote for you because you do not deserve to be in the bottom 2 by any means this week. Your have worked so hard this and I agree with A&C – this competition would not be the same without you. VOTE MALIK – cus I know I will be AlfieandCharlie Why were you so worried about this? You are SO entertaining! This was really good for your voice, really good. You are a born performer, you'd make an excellent redcoat! You have a real uniqueness in this competition, and it wouldnt be the same if you werent here. I think you have worked really hard and i loved listening to this....just believe in yourself and find the right songs like this one, and |

lol - the glasses coming off was pure showmanship - the only way to go now will be a complete strip, a live mike in an LA mansion's swimming pool ... or burning down the Houses of Parliament, obviously

Faria – Right here waiting for you
http://www.singsnap.com/snap/r/b7b25071 NickyNoodle A beautiful choice and once again a vocally flawless performance. You seem effort, less when you sing and even though you're perfect aldready you seem to get better. I really think you will be the winner. Well done once again, but the people need to remember you still need votes! Suebeee This was a perfect song choice for you. You have such a rich tone to your voice and you make listening to music a complete joy. Week after week you take a song and you make it your own and this week was no exception. I’ve heard many versions of this song crucified at karaoke, yet your version made the song seem fresh again and enjoyable. I’ve always said you are a shining star and tonight you are positively glowing!!. Very well done Abbie AlfieandCharlie Abbie, you have the voice of an angel. So natural, light, and effortless. You keep the higher tougher notes at the same level but give it the right amount of push which is just so perfect. This song was beautiful on you. You made it your own....you are winning material thats for sure. Keep that uniqueness about you, you are a pleasure to listen to and watch. |

Skywatcher – Somewhere only we know
http://www.singsnap.com/snap/r/b4bda539 NickyNoodle After your first performance I didnt think you were a serious contender but lasst week and now this, another great performance! Your vocals were great and sorry to use this cliche but you made it your own. Some notes towards the middle weren't perfrect but still good. Of course everyone's in danger tonight so don't get complacent fans, he could be in danger! Suebeee Out of all the songs sang this week – yours was technically the hardest by a mile. However, you took the challenge and you gave a blinding performance. I love the delicate falsetto notes you used in places followed by nice strong powerful vocals on the chorus. There were some flat pitchy notes, but with a song that is so technically demanding its hardly surprising either. You should be very proud of this performance, because I know I am AlfieandCharlie You did such a good job on this! Its a MEGA hard song to sing, and not many people realise that. you had a slightly nervous start but you pulled it back big time, and you owned it. I think you should challenge yourself more often. Those high notes were near damn perfect, just open your throat and let them fly out because they are there and they will appear! You HAVE to stay in this week, you've done a sterling job on a difficult song. |

Faria - Ladies and gentlemen : there's a professional in the house. If I was conspiracy minded I'd cry 'ringer'
