It depends upon which Home cinema you buy, a seperates system will give you better options but essentailly you need to have two optical inputs on the home cinema amplifier. You will then connect via Optical Toslink Cables from the DVD & Sky+ box to each of these inputs. An Amplifier like this is a good starting point http://www.richersounds.co.uk/showpr...id=YAMA-RXV361

You will then need speakers to go with it. If this is not in your budget & intend to go for an all in one just check how many optical inputs it has before buying.

i have the onkyo tx-sr605 which has hdmi if your tv has this thats what i connect to get tv sound and play my playstation 3 through on 5.1.

this is the best one for connections of any sort of av cables for easy listening and setup recommended if you can afford to buy

p.s my speakers Q acoustics 5.1 1010i speaker package

find the deals if you get this its a bit expensive at the moment

Some TV's have optical output (mine does) but as almost everything I view comes via Sky then it's already covered. If you want to watch normal TV & DTV then you can use another optical link but you will only be able to listen in Dolby Pro Logic not Digital 5.1 in my opinion just do it via Sky.
