Do you get a text from o2 when you enter a foreign country saying which is their preferred network?

I have never had a text like that from 02 when I have been in Holland. Just a text after a hour or so welcoming me to the country. My 02 just seems to auto find a nextwork. Even when I was in Dublin last year 5mins after I got of plane the phone changed to 02 Ireland.

There is no sms from O2 as they do not rip you off by having certain "preferred" networks like Voda, 3 etc do. You get the same rates WHATEVER network you roam onto.
