My last bill was about 4 times normal and when I've looked at the itemisation I think I've been overcharged for 2 problems:

1 Before Christmas it was telling me text sending had failed so I'd resend it up to 10 times before it went. It appears that I've been charged for each attempt (I certainly don't think I could manage to send 10 texts to one person in 2 minutes)

2 When I send a text to more than one person at a time it goes as a picture message. Mentioned it to T Mobile in the past and they said that I'd only get charged for text message rate not MMS but I've been charged at MMS rate.

Anyone else had similar problems?

What priceplan are you on? If it's flext then MMS messages will be 20p but texts are 12p.

On Flext 35

If it's going as an MMS instead of text I'm being overcharged by 8p a text, which all adds up!

Also if I'm being charged 90p/ £1 to send a 10p text it all adds up!

I fail to understand why you're sending texts messages as MMS. The only time doing this would be any benefit is when you're abroad as MMS messages come out of your allowance but texts don't.

There is a bug in some Motorola and Samsung phones that causes the phone to change the message type when you select multiple recipients.
The "Message Sending Failed" is also a phone problem. If you should get this message then re-sending is not the best thing to do. Try turning off the phone, removing the battery for a few minutes before re-assembling.

Newer S/e handsets such as K850i automatically set the handsets to send via mms when a certain amount of characters are exceeded to save you money apparently, due to you being able to fit more text in the form of a picture message.

Message sending failed may be because you dont have mms set up on your account? Not too sure though you may have to check this.

What you can do is update to the latest software version number which should eliminate those bugs.

Hope that helps, let us know how you get on.
