ive just got a portable bose sound dock for £255 normal price £279 on the bose site with £15 p+p
i feel ive got a bargin but whos fooling who here |

it's a lot of money for some iPod speakers. £250 spent at Richers on an amp & speakers would yield a far better, if less wife-friendly, result.

Cheaper still a £5 cable and plug into your hi-fi or home cinema system.

Not that cheap I suppose if he doesn't have a HiFi or home cinema to plug into
![]() I must admit that 250 quid seems a lot for a pair of tiny speakers and a small amp. Bose are very good at creating a "big" sound however and the results usually are very good. Their demo of the Acoustimass system is very impressive. Sometimes I wonder whether their fairly coloured sound is all its cracked up to be. A bit like salt on food. Instant satisfaction but it leaves you wondering whether you tasted the real flavour. That said I have owned Bose in the past and would love to try a pair of 901s in the right room. |
