Last month 12 reporters spent a day inside the BB9 house and got to play the game just like regular housemates, they played HOH, nominated, played POV and then had an eviction.

The Insider Online have posted an official video of their reporter Cheryl Woodcock inside the house. The house looks like a winter, log cabin.

Yeah it gets cold in LA. I went in March a few years back and it was pretty chilly then.

"The house is extremely colourful - so colourful that it might take us time to get used to.

The living room and kitchen are decorated like a winter cabin “on crack” - logs and stones, like the wallpaper on the third level during BB8 - to match the winter season. They even have REAL TREES in the diary room! WTF? Do they want to leaf you with a good impression? Make the HGs bark up the wrong tree? The living room also sports a circular couch for the big happy HG family.

The third level is no longer the log wallpaper and is bookshelf wallpaper. I sense themes… everywhere.

The HoH room has a surfer theme - gnarly, dude! The other bedrooms have low walls which divide up a little bit of individual space for the HG - great idea! One room has a nautical them! Fun.

The backyard now sports a firepit to keep the HG warm on the frosty winter nights. The pool is also heated now!"

Pairs again, they did that in BB6. I hope they are all strangers and don't know each other. On the advert it says "WE'VE matched each housemate with a soulmate", so maybe BB have handpicked people they think will make good pairs.

lol Matchmaking, soulmates, i wouldn't mind the couples in split up houses like survivor evicting someone each week who loses the HOH comp or something and then a merge type thing when we reach like 12 or so people so thats like 4 weeks in.

I have a feeling the first week might have something to do with this twist. Maybe a pair becomes HOH, nominates two other pairs and the remaining pairs have to vote to evict a pair

I hadn't watched the video, just the pic of the presenter in her big fur coat, and with the first two posts saying about winter, I pressumed they had done a snow type thing. Now I've sen the video, I see I was wrong.

The BB7 house was cool to.
I kinda like the new house from what I've seen. Mind you, I won't properly judge until that "it is a house like no other..." bit at the beggining. Oh, it's getting closer!

Wonder how they`ll cope with the rest of the weeks - there are not enought couple to evict two at a time

That could just be a one week twist then they go to normal weeks. Anyway, we won't know until 7 days time (so close!!)

Trying to think of the pairs involved in the history of USBB

Although some of them weren`t exactly friends to begin with - Erika and Robert for example.

Well BB6 everyone started the game in a pair...Janelle/Adria, Eric/Maggie, Howie/Rachel etc.

Housemates that have worked as a pair who didn't know each other before hand, erm...probably Danielle and Jason in BB3 worked the best as a pair making the final three.
