Ideas for Dinner
Anybody got any good quick recipes that I can whip up in 30 mins - 1 hour I'm lacking in inspiration today and don't want to spend too long cooking as I'll be cooking pancakes for afters.
I normally go through my back copies of Delicious when I'm feeling uninspired but time is of the essence

Unfortunately I'm opting out of the pancakes and the boys can eat for Britain so something substantial is usually order of the day for dinner

Tuna pasta, substantial, quick and easy.
A good jar of pasta sauce, I like Bertolli, a quality tin or jar of best tuna and that's it really apart from a few chilli flakes to pep it up and a shower of parmesan to serve. I like it with linguine and if you buy the fresh it's even quicker. |

King Prawn and coconut Curry
I just had a lovely home made curry, and it only takes 30 mins or so to cook. We served it with noodles as oh doesn't like rice, but it was great.
Prawn Curry It's really creamy like a korma (but I doubt as much fat) and quite mild and ingredients are easy to come by. Enjoy! |

I just put peppers, tomatoes, mushrooms and onions in a pan. Wait for them to simmer down, then for the last 5 or 6 mins I melt some mature cheddar cheese into it.

Thanks that sounds like a lovely recipe - I'm going to try that tonight

Add curry powder, make a sauce with flour and milk until thickened and then add your king prawns! Tops and done in a flash!
