I like the Cheesy ones, although you seem to get the Scampi in the multipacks instead these days.

No- if I remember correctly they also have a high fat content.

As far as I recall, in terms of Weightwatchers points (my reference for everything ) they are unusually high for a bag of crisps.

Shame cause they're yummy.

I haven't seen the Scampi ones for ages, where can you get them?

I had about 3 packets, ok maybe 4 in a row, and it had an adverse effect on my tummy. I haven't touched them since

dont bother, they're much smaller and the 'sticks' are more like pieces of Kelloggs all bran in size rather than old skool nik naks

I have quite an addiction for Nik Naks - love both the Nice n Spicy and the Scampi ones. Haven't seen the cheese ones for ages.

Yeah me too. Back in the 90s there was a Cheese flavoured Nik-Naks that were like fluorescent orange coloured, they were delicious and I was completely addicted to them.
Haven't seen them in years

That's not 702 calories that's 702 kilo-joule (kJ).

702 kj is roughly 168 Kcal.

KCal is kilo-calorie

There are 1,000 calories in a kilo-calorie.

However everybody simply calls kilocalories calories.

So when someone says something is 169 calories they really mean 169 Kcal (kilocalories).

Yes that's right...however the daily reccommend calorie intake is approx 2000 KCal, rather than 2000 calories (i.e. 2Kcal) so it is fine to just call KCals calories.

I used to eat these all the time when I was at school. Oh the amount of times I got told off by the teachers for stinking the classroom out, and the amount of times I was sent to the toilets to wash my hands... they sure stink alright! But they're absolutely gorgeous.

I looooooove the nice and spicy niknaks, but i stopped eating them a while ago because they have around 10g of fat a bag and the bags are tiny!! When i've had one bag i always have to have another, so i stopped eating them.
