Bitter for me mainly Boddingtons / Thwaites smooth (live in Blackburn)

I really like the white beer that you get in belgium, germany etc.
Have to agree that lager is so much better in europe. I might be wrong but I heard that in Germany it was against the law to add all the extra rubbish that they add in the U.K.

yes the Germany there are brewing laws relating to the qaulity of the hops and the 4 main ingredients.

It's a shame no one has launched a real European Style lager that isn't has gassy as what we get in the UK. Even if you drink Star or Becks it is still way more gassy than what you get abroad
