Can you imagine!! We'd get arrested, beaten up or carted off to the loony bin cos we'd all have to be in stripes! *cue slowmo side-by-side walking in stripey gear to Don't Want to Miss A Thing*

Heartbreaking (well they are to me) new pics of Matilda, looking more like a mini-Heath every day.
And he's not here to see it.

Thanks Flukie. She is the absolute spitting image of him isn't she? It's quite unusual too, girls usually look their mothers and how things panned out it's such a blessing. I'm sure Heath still pops by and sees her regularly. It's so sad that Matilda will never know him though, but at least she'll have his films, pictures and his wonderful reputation as a beautiful person, inside and out, to look back on and be very proud.

Feel very uncomfortable having looked at the pictures though, they were fairly intrusive on the little one. Especially the one where she's playing at the park - I found that one particularly creepy knowing that there are photographers taking pictures of a child playing in a park.

Hi Flukie. Thanks - they were lovely - it's uncanny how much like him she looks....

It is nice to see how they're both coming along & I do want to know that they're both OK, but equally, as Rose says, I feel rather uncomfortable knowing they were probably followed & papped. Difficult one.

I think she is always going to be followed where ever she goes from now on, Heath will become more and more of an Icon as time passes, and Matilda is his only child and the absolute image of him, which will be a blessing and a curse as she grows IMO. I'm sure Michelle will do all she can to protect her as she grows.

Like I said above I think it may be a part of life for her now. Let's hope they give them both space, and don't chase them out of Brooklyn. The one thing that struck me about seeing those photo's was how lonely Michelle looked....there was a space beside her that shouldv'e been filled by Heath.

Folks was a trailer during Holyoaks (guilty pleasure of mne) for Brokeback Mountain..it's on C4 on Sunday at 9PM

I'm not ready to watch it yet..but I'm sure there's someone here who said they haven't got it/seen it, so thought they might want to know so they can watch or record it

Even the dialogue in the trailer was too much (they use the clip where Ennis say "we'll be dead"

I do like this picture of Matilda looking happy.

It's hard to believe she's only two, she looks older than that cos she looks tall, and having the look of Heath, makes her look older. She even seems to have his gait and way of holding her hands when walking!

Yeah, I agree, where was the tribute to him when he died?, nothing. Think ITV showed The Sin Eater at some stupidly late hour, but that was all. At least they are showing 2 of his best films.
