Do you mean Crest Whitestrips? You can't buy them in the UK AFAIK, only on ebay. I've used them a couple of times and my teeth are now very white.
They do make your teeth sensitive while you're using them though, so it's best to brush with Sensodyne just for that time.

I like the Premium best. They are stronger than the classic. But you will probably need Sensodyne.

Funnily enough I was just looking at some of these for sale yesterday on ebay from a UK seller.
I have a couple of darkish stains on my two front teeth from where I had a brace cemented on in my teens and I'm so self conscious.....they really show. Do you think these would fade down with the rest of the colour of my teeth to make them all one uniform colour? Don't want all my teeth to be white except these two bits 'cos they would show up even more. I'm thinking of going for the Premium ones because I've heard the Supreme ones ,which are stronger, really hurt your teeth and mine are sensitive already. |

I've used them twice now, both off ebay with about a 12 month gap between each pack.
I cant offhand remember which strength I used, but I think it was each morning and night for 14 days. I must say I was mighty impressed - especially the first time, I really noticed a difference. Its quite awkward I found to keep the bottom ones on for 30mins, and you've just about had enough when they're ready to come off! Would highly recommend though Sorry cant answer about the stains from brace, but maybe your dentist could give your teeth a bit of a buff up before you actually use the strips, and then any surface stains may come off a bit already? |

Have just used them for the 3rd time and only thing that has worried me slightly is that now my teeth do look whiter,my faint crack in my tooth looks slightly more noticable now. I'm not sure whether to carry on using them
No other problems tho at the moment.

Has anyone used anything else?
I used these strips and they made my teeth really sensitive, as a result I couldn't use them properly - used them for three days approximately then stopped. I wondered whether something like the gel you can get with the trays might produce some good results but I'm scared to try. |

I wondered whether something like the gel you can get with the trays might produce some good results but I'm scared to try. I've used the Oral-B Rembrandt Whitening Pen before and found that really good (noticed the difference on the first time of use) and it didn't make my teeth sensitive. It's a gel in a pen style applicator, you twist the opposite end and the gel comes out of the top through a sponge. It's easy to apply and great because you can apply it to which ever teeth you want, I found that useful as I have one tooth that is darker than all the rest so just wanted to whiten that one more than the rest. The gel is clear, tastes minty and not harmfull if swallowed, so there's not faffing around with a complex and time consuming routine. I've put a link below so you can see what it looks like: http://www.amazon.com/Oral-B-Rembran.../dp/B0002M5JS4 I'm tempted to buy the Colgate Whitestrips as I've read good reviews about them and my Oral-B Whitening Pen has just run out! |

Mine came yesterday morning, this is now my second day and my teeth are really sensitive. I had to take the bottom one off after 15 mins this morning because there was a pain in my gums..... if this continues or gets any worse I don't think I will be able to continue the 10 day course.

I'm so tempted to get some of these strips as I've read great reviews about them. But a few posters have now said their teeth have become so sensitive that they may not be able to continue using the strips so this is changing my mind a bit. Maybe use some Sensodyne toothpaste and only use the strips every other day, I'm not sure if that will hinder the whitening power though? I'm kinda hoping someone can do the whole course of strips and then come back and say it was all worth it before I invest in some! Let us know how you get on

I generally don't experience sensitivity in my teeth at all, so it's put me off a bit! Just one question - is that one of those gels where you have to keep your mouth open while the gel drys? |

Thanks for the link, that looks really good, after experiencing a bit of discomfort before I'm nervous about getting anything else that hasn't come without a reccomendation.

Oh, before I apply the gel, I wipe my teeth with dry tissue paper to make sure they aren't wet as that would make the gel slip off. |

Which ones did you get? I'm using the premium ones and yesterday I noticed a slight sensivity around my gumline, but that went after a couple of minutes.
The shooting pain in my gum was behind my lower teeth, I've since put more of the lower strip towards the front so it isn't touching my gumline behind my teeth... seems to be helping as I've not had it that severe since. I can't eat anything sweet though as it hurts my teeth, they are very sensitive. This is the fourth day of use and ,my teeth are a little lighter I can definitely notice a difference, that is the only reason I am continuing with them lol. |
