Received letter from Tiscali re HC upgrade...
I received a letter from Tiscali today.
It basically says that I will be able to upgrade later this month at some point when I receive an invitation letter. Doesn't say exactly what I can upgrade to but says "you will be delighted with the new packages" Good news I guess? |

We had a similar letter prior to Christmas. No dates or official timescales, just some vague mention of a vague future time when something vague may or may not happen. To be honest it's getting pretty damn tiresome. If Tiscali are going to migrate us, I wish they'd just hurry up and let us know when it's going to happen. Even if they say April, at least we'd know.
I'm also interested in seeing where all this promised advertising is for Tiscali TV. It's a bit hard to expand a service that nobody signs up for thanks to not knowing it exists. |

I had one of these letters before christmas too.Not had any more info though despite phone calls to cs ect...
Have to admit i am more than a bit wary of switching over to tisali as there have been alot of problems reported lately and its impossible to get any answers as to how it affects tv customers, all i ever get told is that the problems are fixed ,everything is fine blah..blah..blah, but a quick search on the net proves otherwise. Plus the fact that if you are moved onto the tiscali LLU and the service is crap it could cost you £125 to get switched back to a BT line is more than a bit worrying! |
