i forgot on tuesday - just made one, it was too thick, i think i out too much batter in the pan, next one will be thinner.Tons of sugar and lemon, mmm, i forgot how much i love these.

Why do people never think of having them other times of the year, yet we love them so much when we have them?

I forgot as well. I only remembered at bed time when my OH suddenly remembered and stuck out his lower lip - he's 29 FFS!
i am going to make them tomorrow as a friday night treat. I have mine with banana and honey. mmmm.
and we always say afterwards we should have them more often but never do.

I had some last Friday when the first thread appeared - I'm very suggestible.

Occasionally have then at other times when I find a bag of cheap lemons and have to find uses for them.

I often make a couple for my son if I have any yorkshire pudding batter mix over - in fact he insists I make extra

Pancake day is more important than Christmas or any other time of the year for me. lol

I swear I'm not the size of a house and only eat them one day a year.

It's like mince pies at Christmas isn't it. We love them, but then we forget about them come January.
